Changes (Herophine) - part 13

Josephine

Today, Hero is going on a trip to London, to visit his family and to have some fun with his friends. He spent the last weeks with me and now it's time for him to relax. He deserves it.

"I will miss you, Jo."

"And I will miss you too, Hero."

"And I will also miss our baby boy."

"Shh, Kate can hear us. We decided to tell everyone in 3 weeks, at our gender reveal party."

"Yeah, shit. I'm sorry."

Kate: "C'mon, love birds! Hero's uber is here!"

"I love you."

"And I love you." I kiss him and we get out of our room.

Kate: "She will be fine. I'm staying here until you are coming back. Maybe more."

Jo: "More?"

Kate: "Yeah. If I'm here, I decided to go to a casting for a movie."

Jo: "That's great, Kate! I will need details."

Hero: "I gotta go, girls. Take care of them, Kate!"

Kate: "I will."

Jo: "Call me as soon as you arrive, ok?"

Hero: "Yes. And don't forget to call me if something is wrong. I don't care if you will call in the middle of the night."

Jo: "I understand."

Hero: "Good. Love you both." He kisses my forehead and he goes to the door. "See you next week."

Kate: "Bye!"

Jo: "Bye!"

Hero leaves and now it's just me and Kate.

"And? It's a boy or a girl?"

"I won't tell you." I smile and I sit on the couch. "Three weeks until the gender reveal party and you will know."

"Ugh, fine!"

"So? About your casting?"

"I have a casting in two days. It's a romance movie and I hope I will take the role."

"I'm sure you will. You are a good actress and you will do it great."

"Thank you... Do you have any pictures with the baby?"

"Yes. Can you give me that bag?" I point to my bag and Kate gives it to me. I takr out the ultrasound and I show her the baby. "Before the gender reveal, we are going to an 3D ultrasound to see the features of the baby."

"I can't wait to know what you are having. I hope it's a girl."

"You will see." I smile.

A few days later...

"Jo?"

"Yes?"

"Did you saw this?" She gives me her phone with a news about Hero.

"Hero Fiennes-Tiffin and Josephine Langford broke-up after just a few weeks? The British model is alone in London and he was having fun with his friends last night. Why the gorgeous blonde is not with him? Is this a sign of a break-up?" I read loud and I start to laugh." What a bullshit."

"Yeah... Call Hero and tell him that you saw the news and you are not bothered by it."

"This is pissing me a little bit more than anything. And I really think we will announce my pregnancy earlier than I thought, even if I don't want to expose it."

"But talk with him first."

"I will. Ouch."

"What's wrong?"

"This baby is going to kill me one day." I rub the spot where he kicked.

"I think the baby misses his dad."

"Of course! He is kicking slower when Hero talks with him."

"He?"

"He as the baby. Now, excuse me, I'm going to try to call Hero."

"Oh, ok."

I walk in our bedroom and I call Hero on FaceTime. He answers in just a second.

"Hi baby!"

"Hi!" I smile as I see him in his bed. It's almost 11 pm in London. "Already in bed? I thought you are going there to have fun."

"Yeah, I think my time in clubs are done." He laughs. I'm a little bit too old for this. Now, I'm going to be a dad. I should be more responsible."

"You should announce me that we break up." I giggle.

"What? What are you talking about?"

"There is a news about us. You are in London with your friends and that means we are done. I have no idea why they care about it."

"Oh, shit. Can you send me the link?"

"Kate showed me it. But don't worry. I know it's not true. And that's why I called you. After you came back, we can make a maternity photoshoot."

"Ok, we can do this."

"I know we said that we should wait, but I'm done with all their assumptions. I want them to know once for all that we are a couple and we are having a baby and we don't want to be in the spotlight."

"I know baby. And I want this too. So, as I'm back on Sunday, we can talk with a photographer in LA and we can have a photoshoot."

"That's great." I put my hand on my belly.

"He is moving?"

"Yes. I think he misses you."

"And I miss him and his mommy."

"We love you." I smile.

"And I love you, both of you."
