Houston, Texas . Lilac's Bedroom .
Groaning loudly as her phone rang in her ear, Lilac snatched it, answering with her eyes closed.
"Hello?" She grumbled, yawning loudly after.
"Ew, dragon," Así laughed in her ear.
Lilac sighed, digging her nail through the gaps in her scarf to scratch her head.
"What, Así? Always calling me early in the morning."
"Girl I'm coming to get my dog," Así fussed. "You be tryna keep him like he yours, talking about he cryin' he don't wanna come. Bring y'all ass outside."
He hung up and Lilac busted out laughing, looking over at Bankroll.
He popped his head up to her and she smiled.
"Damn, till next time buddy, your Daddy outside."
She got up and threw slides on, grabbing the puppy and his stuff before jogging downstairs to meet Así.
She managed to keep Bankroll an extra day, because he actually was crying when she tried to get him ready.
Así was in the car because it was cold, so Lilac put Bankroll and his stuff in the back before hopping in the passenger seat to talk to him.
She shivered and she noticed Así taking in her small tank top and pajama shorts.
His eyes finally met hers and he smiled.
"Goodmornin'. Why you ain't put yo robe on?"
"Goodmorning," Lili rubbed her eyes. "I didn't feel like doing all that. I'm going right back to sleep."
"You look pretty,"
Probably got crust in my eyes and everything.
Lilac smiled, taking him in.
He looked good, like he was about to go somewhere.
"Thank you. You look good too, where you goin'?"
She sat back, watching him and he did the same.
"Nosey. But I'm goin on a lil trip with Ryan and some of our other friends. Bankroll a be back Sunday."
It was Friday.
Lili nodded, licking her lips.
"Have fun, don't do anything I wouldn't do,"
"What wouldn't you do?"
Lili squinted and he laughed.
"Trick question. You know I have my fun. But be safe, forreal."
