Simeon Academy.

Lilac watched in her car from behind her shades as Jyari stomped out of the gym doors towards her.

It had already been about three weeks since the girls moved into Asíel's home and the couple made a month together today.

Lilac also went to pick up the keys for their new apartment today before coming to get Jyari for furniture shopping.

Lilac finally felt like huge burdens were being lifted off her shoulders, and she couldn't wait until she felt true freedom.

Lilac had been working more to make more money despite Así's protests. She loved to make her own money and would always continue to do so.

She had also finally caught on that Rico, the owner of the club, and Así knew each other. After they ran into each other when Asíel was picking her up, it was suddenly a boost in her paychecks.

Shit, she wasn't going to complain.

Jyari hated her job at Footlocker but began picking up more hours as well until they moved.

Lilac giggled as Jye swung the door open, getting inside the car.

"Damn, angry bird. You good?"

"Girl, hell no. We got a new cheer coach, Tiana. That bitch come right in trying to make changes. I'm the captain hoe Ima have to teach all them little bitches how to do this new shit and they can barely string a sentence together as it is," Jye snapped.

Lilac laughed before covering her mouth, seeing how upset her sister was.

"It's okay, JyeBug. You can do it. Why did they get a new cheer coach?"

"They said the last one was fuckin' on a player from the basketball team after a game, but this bitch look like she Miss Pedophile Jr."

Lilac shook her head as she pulled off, driving towards downtown.

"You can do it, Jye. You been captain of that team for four years, they gonna listen to you. And if they can't get it right they ass won't cheer," Lili shrugged.

"Straight like that," Jyari co-signed. "Ain't it y'all anniversary?" Jye suddenly grinned.

Lilac blushed beginning to think about it.

Though it was only a month, everything felt perfect between them.

They were both so patient with each other when it came to their needs and Lilac loved that. She needed that.

"Yeah. He at home sleep he had some shit to do earlier today but we goin' on a date tonight."

Jye smiled, loving to see her sister happy.
