"I'm comin', damn," Lili snapped grumpily as she picked a sleepy Bankroll up from his bed.
Así, who had an attitude also, called her three or four times to come outside. He had to take Bankroll to the vet and woke up late, so now he was irritated and trying to rush Lilac before they were late.
"Watch yo fuckin' mouth."
Scoffing, Lilac hung up and tossed her phone on the bed, knowing he would call back.
She slid a hoodie over her head, jogging outside with the dog.
When she got to the car & flung the door open, Así shot her a look.
She put Bank in his car seat before looking up, seeing his eyes already on her.
"What?"
"Stank ass attitude. Fix that shit," he pointed at her, his lip curled up.
She rolled her eyes, slamming his car door and starting to walk off.
She heard his door open and looked back, seeing him use his long legs to catch up to her.
He grabbed her hand, pulling her back.
"What? Damn. I thought you was gonna be late."
He looked at her with an emotionless look, only snatching her closer.
"I said fix that shit. You still comin' with me later?"
Feeling her stomach get warm, Lilac nodded a little before looking away.
"That attitude gone be gone?"
"Yeah," Lili mumbled stubbornly, barely audible.
"What you say?" He pressed.
"I said yeah, let me go."
She finally pulled away and he smirked, blowing her a kiss before walking back to his side.
"I a see you at eight."

Rolling her eyes to hide her smile, she walked in the building and up the dirty stairs.
"Hey, Lili,"
Looking over her shoulder, she saw Dreka's son Devin there. He smirked at her, biting his lip as he caught up to her.
Devin is younger than her and Jye, at 16. Lilac tried to tell him all the time that he was too young for them, but he swore he could treat them better.
"Wassup, Devin," mumbled Lili.
She kept walking, knowing he was behind her.
"I be hearin' y'all. Ion know how you live with yo mama. She be trippin."
