*1 Week After The Twins' Arrival.*

Sighing, Lilac pulled on her mask as she and Así headed up to the nicu floor.
"Think they gone pass their car seat test today?" Así asked.
"I think so, my breast milk been getting them chunky," Lili giggled.
She had only been out of the hospital for two days after her c-section and was beyond ready to get them home with her.
They were gaining weight fast and she was confident today was the day.
"Can't wait to see my babies!" Aspen squealed from Así's phone.
"She gone be calling my phone every few minutes," Así chuckled.
They'd requested no visitors for a month and knew it was going to drive their families crazy but they had to protect their babies.
They were too fragile right now.
"So what?" Aspen chuckled.
They buzzed into the Nicu and washed their hands, a chorus of quiet greetings coming from the front desk nurses.
"Hii," the excited parents whispered back.
They made their way to their twins' area and was surprised to see them both out of their beds and being held.
"They have just been fed," the nurses smiled, handing one to each of their parents.
"Look, Ma," Así smiled, showing her the babies.
