Sighing, Lilac glanced at the time again as she finished cleaning her section.
Lately it was like every time she came to work she found it less enjoyable than the last.
It was June already and it was going to be a busy month for them.
Jye graduated in a week, June 10th, Así's birthday is the 11th, and Lilac's is the 15th.
Lilac's shop renovations were nearly done, with only decorating left to do and she couldn't be more excited. She'd finally began the hiring process for her employees and felt like everything was official now.
Jye was already six months pregnant with a little boy, and everyone couldn't be more ecstatic.
After wiping the last table, Lilac put the last of the cleaning supplies away before rushing back to get dressed.
As she was sipping her hoodie over her head, Rima came in the locker room, on the phone with Ryan.
"Hey, girl. Rico said he wanna talk to you," she called to Lilac.
"Did he say what he wanted?" Lili frowned, not in the mood to talk to anyone.
"Nope," Rima shook her head.
"Okay, thank you. Hey Ryan!" Lili called before grabbing her stuff and walking to the main office.
Knocking on Rico's door, she waited patiently before it swung open.
Naja came out, looking Lili up and down.
"Hey, Bestie," Lili chuckled, brushing past her and going into the office. "Hey, Rico. You wanted to see me?"
Rico spun around in the chair, giving her a friendly smile.
"Yeah, shut the door for me, Doll."
Closing his office door, Lilac glanced at him before sitting in one of the office chairs before him.
"Wassup?"
"I just wanted to say I'm real proud of you. I watched you grow from when I first hired you till now and seeing the clientele you bring in is honestly impressive," he nodded. "I'd love to promote you."
"Thank you. But promote me?" Lili chuckled. "To what?"
Raising an eyebrow, she watched as Rico surveyed the cameras from tonight. Specifically her section.
"Well, I'm looking for an assistant to help me on a day to day basis. You would get a significant pay raise as well."
