Taking a deep breath, Así picked up his jogging pace, watching Bank run happily.
"Wait... threw a drink on who ?!" Lili screeched into the phone.
It was about 8 in the morning and Así was taking Bankroll for his walk before he took him to Lilac. Lilac called Asíel on her own this time, demanding to know what time her best friend, Bankroll, would be back.
"Me," Así chuckled. "She mad at me because her best friend wanted to suck dick without commitment as a teenager and now want a relationship."
Lili curled her top lip up.
"And you let her,"
Así could hear the distaste in her voice and chuckled, shaking his head.
"But, anyway," she continued. "This whole situation isn't fair to you. Nobody asked you how you felt."
"I don't even care about that shit. I care that Zaria had the audacity to disrespect me knowing all I do for her and Kash and knowing I'm gonna have to see her again," Así shook his head.
"Stomp that hoe ears together," Lilac yawned.
"Like Flat Stanley," Jye giggled childishly in the background.
"Shut up Jye," Lili laughed. "She gonna be trying to say sorry. And Marisol gone be tryna get that back," she teased.
Así rolled his eyes, a small smile tugging his lips. She was always trying to be funny when it came to him and women.
"Man, fuck that shit though. What you was doing up this morning? You never call this early."
Lilac suddenly grew quiet and Así raised an eyebrow.
"I-um, couldn't sleep after I woke up."
Asíel could tell from the waver in her voice that she was lying.
But what she lying for?
"Oh. Well, me and Bank almost done."
"Okay. Can you stay on the phone?" She asked quietly.
