The rain pounded against the windows of the Avengers tower and soaked my shivering body as I pondered on whether to enter or not. What if they didn't like me? Or even worse, think I'm a threat? I breathed in with all of the courage I could muster. Confused faces turned to look at me as i used my powers to remove the water from my clothes. Standing up straight, i marched over to the front desk.
"I would like to speak to Mr stark please?" I said, trying to sound much more professional than I actually was.
"I'm afraid you'll have to book an appointment, he's-" I cut the secretary off, controlling her mind with another of my powers. Her eyes glowed a faint gold as she continued.
"Right away miss, he's in a meeting on the fiftieth floor." The lift doors opened, allowing me to step inside.
