Chapter 8

The car pulled up outside the mall. It was so much bigger than I remembered. People were everywhere, I could feel my breath getting more rapid.

"Its going to be fine, just stayed with us" Nat said, noticing the worried look on my face. I slowly nodded, and got out of the car. I can do this... It's just a mall.

We walked inside and I let out a breath I didnt know I was holding in. It was so busy, there was so many people. Wanda grabbed my hand and led me into a shop. Nat started picking  out clothes and giving them to me to try on. Once my hands were full with jumpers, hoodies, dresses, jeans and too many other things to count. We went over to the changing rooms for our first 'fashion show' of the day.

"What were you two giggling about in the lift earlier?" I said whilst showing them a skirt.

"One, love the skirt, put it on the 'yes' pile. Two, we wanna know what's going on between you and Peter, I saw him walk out of your room earlier when you were on your run. what's that all about?" Nat sniggered

"Ummm..." should I tell them about the nightmares? They seemed really nice so I'm sure the would understand, "I just had a nightmare, like a bad one, and he was just comforting me and I must've fallen asleep again, no big deal."

"I don't buy it, I totally ship you two, you were so cute whilst watching the movie. AND, he carried you up to bed." Wand squealed as I showed them more clothes.

"Me too, I am so going down with this ship" Nat said

"What about you and Banner? I see the way you flirt with him!" I retaliated, embarrassed.

"What? Nooooo..." Nat smiled guiltily and her cheeks flushed bright red, something I thought I would never see.

"And you and Vision?" I said, turning to Wanda,"I see the way you look at eachother, despite him being an android, you two are perfect for eachother!" Wanda's eyes widened and she went an even brighter red than Nat. I smiled, knowing I had defeated both of them.

It was nearing lunch time and my stomach was growling loudly.

"Wanna get some food?" I asked hungrily. I could see some cafés and restaurants on the top level.

"Let's eat at Taco bell" nat said, noticing my loud stomach.

We went up and ordered, sitting in one of the booths.

"Omg, I just realised, you don't have a superhero name! Scarlet witch is taken!" Wanda pointed out

"One, my powers are gold so scarlet wouldn't work, two, I know, like you're an Avenger, everyone knows, three, I have no idea what my name would be." I admitted

"Golden witch?" Nat suggested

"Too close to Wanda's, she'd kill me if I chose that"

"True" wanda giggled"What's your favourite animal?"

"Pandas, what? They are so cute"

"Golde-" Nat started but I stopped her

"I'm not gonna be called Golden Panda, dont you dare even think about it!" I scowled at her to let her know I wasnt joking but then let out a loud laugh, that was completely of the table, forever...

"Ohmygodohmygodohmygod," Wanda squeled, earning a wierd look from the both of us, "Golden Sorceress!"

"I love it something muchhhh!"

"So its settled... i knight you, Golden Sorceress" Nat grinned, grabbing a wooden knife and placing it on both of my shoulders whilst wanda and I were in hysterics.

The rest of the day flew by, we shopped till we could no more. We ate ice cream and waffles. It was the most fun I'd had in forever!

We walked out of the mall with about four bags in each hand, most of which were mine. Happy pulled up the car and drove us home.

Home, that's a nice word, isn't it?

A/n: I'm sorry I took so long to publish this chapter, I had to write an extra part to it.

The whole time whilst writing this out, I was constantly thinking about 'Material Girl' by Madonna because you cant have a shopping scene without that song playing.
Oh and the scene in Stranger Things 3 where El and Max go to Starcourt mall, because that's my favourite shopping scene ever.
