Chaper 2

The lift seemed to take forever but, when it finally stopped, the doors opened out into a corridor with a room opposite. The door was closed but I could hear voices coming from inside, so I listened in to what they were saying.

"There are recent reports of a building in Russia being blown up by an unknown source of energy, it was later confirmed to be a HYDRA base. We need to find out what happened..."

I saw this as my opportunity, I opened the door with my powers. "I think I can help with that" I said, causing all of the avengers to turn and stare at me, speechless.

"I'm sorry, why is there a child in my meeting room?" Tony Stark snarled
I smiled, trying my best not to break under the tension in my room.

"Hi, one, I am not a child, I am nearly 16... I think..."

"Who are you? And what do you mean you can help?" Dr banner asked

"My name is y/n Laufeyson, and I am what caused that explosion"

"Laufeyson?" Thor questioned

"Oh right, you're Thor, I'm Loki's younger sister," everyone seemed to stiffen at the mention of his name, "oh god, what has he done now?"

"You dont know?" Captain America butted in. I looked into his mind; my eyes glowed the familiar gold colour. Seeing what my brother had done to New York shocked me, but it was around the same time as I had disappeared, so it made me curse myself for not being there to stop him.

"What is the crazy mini witch doing?" Tony Stark asked, putting his guard up in case I was a threat. "Oh right, I was reading his mind to see his memories of what my brother had done, I thought it would be easier than making you talk about it. Sorry, I should've asked first." I apologised

"Hold on, you can read minds?" Scarlet Witch asked

"Amongst other things, yes"

"What other things?" Dr. Banner asked, intrigued.

"Telepathy, telekinesis, mind control, mind reading, did I already say that one? Anyway, oh and I can do this thing where I can create things with my mind. I havent quite mastered it yet but I'm close." I was starting to get irritated by all the questions.

"Would you mind telling us how you got here, if you are a frost giant like your brother, what are you doing on Earth?" Thor fired yet another question my way.

I sighed, I was going to have to tell them is I wanted them to help me, I may aswell start at the beginning.
"Well, when I was born, my frost giant parents (the king and queen) didnt want me so they left me to die. But that's about when Loki found out that he was actually a frost giant instead of an Asgardian, so he came to his home planet for revenge but before he got to the king and queen, he found me on the brink of death and took me back to Asgard instead. He told Frigga and she told him to keep my a secret from Odin. I was kept away from everyone for a whole year until Odin found out. He was really mad at the time. He sent me away to Earth to live in an orphanage. I grew up, lived a normal life." Everone was listening very intently to what I had to say.

"So how did you get to the HYDRA base?" Captain America questioned.

"Well, on my 13th birthday, these people from HYDRA kidnapped me and took me to that base in Russia," I said, pointing to the image on the screen of the ruins of where I was kept captive, "They tortured me, experimented on me, that's how I got my powers. About 7 days ago, nearly 3 years after the worst birthday of my life, I was going to get my memories wiped, so I would become 'the most powerful soldier ever'. But before they could perform the operation, I got really angry an lost control of my powers, which caused an explosion. For the past week, I have been running away from them, hoping they won't find me. The thing is, I have nowhere to go, so that's why I came here, to see if you could help..." I let out a huge breath, it felt good to get that all off my chest. I got looks of confusion and mainly pity staring back at me, "I'm so sorry, I haven't been with normal human beings for about 3 years, I dont really know how to act. Shall I go? I can go, I'll just go..." I panicked.

"No no, that wont be necessary, ummm, would you mind just stepping outside for a moment?" Mr stark asked.
I stepped outside, sitting down on one of the seats in the hallway. I started fidgeting uncontrollably.

After what felt like forever, the door opened and I was invited back in.
"Well y/n, we have been talking and have decided to offer you a position as an Avenger..."

A/n: Oooooh, cliffhanger! Will y/n accept the position?

Also, I forgot to say that this book isnt going to really fit in with the Marvel timeline because I just wanted to write a story that had all of the characters in as I love them all so much!
