When I was younger, I liked to read a lot and would go to the library alone often. My country is considered safe enough for a child to travel on the public transport alone hence my family wasn't really worried about anything.
My mom used to like dressing me up in really girly clothes such as mini skirts and dresses. I was probably around 10 years old and on that day, I was wearing a white top with a purple mini skirt. I was browsing through the Nancy Drew section at the library and was really focus on it that I didn't realize that there was somebody sitting beside me until I stumbled backwards. I accidentally stepped on his hand which I apologized for. I noticed that his mobile phone was on the hand that I stepped on.
I didn't really think much of it (I wasn't really smart LOL) and he immediately left that section. Halfway through reading my book, I suddenly had a huge wtf thought and realized that he was filming under my skirt with his mobile phone. I immediately started looking for him (while pretending to look for a book) and while walking past an aisle, I saw him sitting next to another girl and his phone was under her skirt too.
I was horrified and thinking fast, I pretended to stand near the girl and started looking for a book. His only reaction was putting his mobile phone away and started reading his book. When the girl moved away from that section, I went with her too. After making sure that the creepy dude can't see us, I told her what happened and we went to find a librarian to tell her what happened.
After telling the librarian, she told us to point him out and I think that the 3 of us looking at him probably scared him off because at that point, he just took all his stuff and left. The librarian told us that we should have been more discreet in telling and should have told her sooner and that there is nothing that she can do since he already left and she just went back to doing her thing.
It's not exactly as creepy as the other stories here but it managed to creep me out enough to not wanting to wear skirts anymore for 9 years.
