I apologize for formatting, this is my first post but I'm honestly so creeped out right now I can't even believe what just happened...
My flatmate Rodrick and I share a small inner-city apartment and adopted a cat, who he insists on calling Dickcat (she is a bit of a dick). Anyway, she often scratches on the bathroom door when either of us are showering, but when one of us needs the bathroom and the other is taking too long, we'll mimic the scratching and have a laugh about it.
I got home late tonight, dropped my bag in my room (while noting Dickcat was asleep on my bed) and headed for a shower before bed. As soon as I turn on the water, Rodrick comes home from a uni pub crawl and we chat through the door about our day before he remembers he left something at the pub and dashes out.
All I remember was being pleasantly surprised he didn't let the door slam loudly like he usually does, since they're really heavy security doors. I take my time, and am finally about to step out and towel off when the scratching starts. Thinking Dickcat is awake, I shush her and say, 'You've had enough biscuits, (real name)!''
I hear a giggle. That's fine, Rodrick giggles a lot when he's drunk. Wait... Rodrick's downstairs.
Out of sheer panic and stupidity, I try to open the door just as Rodrick comes back, effectively cutting me off since the front door swings out in front of the bathroom. He yells, in his very loud, very slow drunk voice, 'WHAAAAT THE FUUCK MATE?' and I hear a scuffle as I guess this mystery guy pushes out past him and legs it for the lift that Rodrick just took up.
Rodrick says he's never seen him before - tall, lanky, early 20s with brown hair and rather unsettling bug eyes. How on earth did he get in past the security chip markers? What was he doing hanging around at 2am? Most of all, what made him scratch if my cat had been in my room the whole time???
