"Mornin' Samsqautch." Gabriel said as his husband woke up beside him.

Sam rubbed his eyes and then looked at Gabriel, who was laying next to him, resting on his arm and watching Sam.

"What time is it?" He mumbled back.

"1:00 pm." Gabe said.

Sam squinted his eyes and sat up a bit, looking around. "Damn. I don't usually sleep this long."

"Well Sammy, considering the events of last night, I'm not surprised you've been asleep this long."

"How long have you been up anyway?"

"About 4 hours."

"Have you just been watching me this entire time?" Sam asked, scooting closer to Gabe.

Gabe moved to lay on his back and scooted slightly away from Sam, trying not to smirk as he stared at the ceiling.

"Nah. I've only been watching you for the last thirty minutes. You're very adorable when you're sleeping you know." Gabe said, acting like he didn't know that Sam wanted to kiss or cuddle him.

Suddenly, Sam moved on top of Gabe and kissed him. Gabe couldn't help but start laughing.

"Happy anniversary Gabe." Sam smiled.

"Happy anniversary Sammy."

Sam kissed Gabe again before getting off of Gabe and standing up to get dressed. After a couple minutes, Sam was dressed in about 3 flannel shirts with a white t-shirt underneath, faded, dark blue jeans, and his boots.

"Well don't you look handsome." Gabe smiled at Sam.

"Thanks." Sam walked over to Gabe and kissed his cheek. "So, if you've only been watching me for half an hour, then what were you doing for the first three and a half?" He asked.

"Oh nothing. I read a book, ate some food, etcetera etcetera. Got bored so I figured I'd watch you sleep. It was a good decision on my part."

Sam chuckled and then the two of them went down the hall of the bunker to the kitchen, where Dean and Cas were, already eating breakfast. Well, Dean was eating, and Cas was just sitting there talking to him.

"Mornin' shleepyhead." Dean said through a mouthful of bacon.

"Morning. And chew your food Dean." Sam said.

Gabriel walked passed Sam over to the coffee machine, and started making some for Sam. Sam walked over and wrapped his arms around his waist, and kissed Gabe's neck a bit.

"Sammy. I'm trying to make you coffee." Gabe chuckled.

"Yup." Sam said, now just burying his face in Gabe's neck and shoulder.

"Get a room you two." Dean said, letting the two lovebirds know that he and Cas were still in the room.

Sam rolled his eyes before turning to look at his brother, who had just a few pieces of bacon left on his plate.

"Oh please. This is nothing compared to what you and Cas used to do before you were married." Sam shuddered as memories of walking into the kitchen to see Dean and Cas practically talking each other's clothes off entered his head.
Cas chuckled a bit and leaned over to kiss Dean's cheek.

"Here you go Sammy." Gabe smiled, handing Sam a mug with coffee in it.

"Thanks Gabe." Sam said, walking over to sit at the table before taking a sip of coffee.

Gabriel walked over and sat next to him, and the four of them all chatted. After a little while, Gabe asked Cas if he could talk to him privately. Cas followed him down the hall.

"Okay. I'm nervous. What if he doesn't like it?" Gabriel whispered.

"Trust me. He will love it." Cas said, putting a hand on Gabe's shoulder.

"Are you sure though? I mean, I spent like two and a half hours setting everything up. I just don't want everything to go wrong."

"Gabriel, just do what you had planned, and.... go with the flow, as humans like to say." Cas smiled.

"Thank you Cassie." Gabe smiled.

He took a deep breath before walking over to Sam's room. Sam was in the bathroom, brushing through his hair. Gabe walked over and smacked Sam's butt before sitting on the toilet, which had the lid down.

Sam jumped slightly, before turning to see Gabriel, who was grinning.

"So Samsquatch. We're leaving in ten minutes." He said, standing up to leave the bathroom.

"Where are we going?" Sam asked.

"It's a surprise." Gabe smirked, leaning over to look back at Sam, wiggling his eyebrows slightly. Sam laughed at him and then brushed his teeth.

10 minutes later, Sam was being pulled out to Cas' car, which Cas was letting them borrow. Gabe opened the passenger door for Sam, smiling.

Sam grinned and sat down, watching Gabriel run around to the driver's side.

"Can you at least give me a hint as to where we're going?" Sam asked as Gabe started driving away from the bunker.

Gabe waited a moment before replying.

"Salt." Was all he said.

"That doesn't even make sense!"

Gabriel just chuckled and Sam looked out the window and sighed, giving up on trying to find out where they were going.

After about 48 minutes of driving, Sam got more impatient and asked Gabriel, once again, where they were going.

"Gabe, we've been driving for almost an hour. Where could possibly be going?"

"Just 5 more minutes Sam." Gabe smiled.

Gabriel could have very well just snapped his fingers and he and Sam would've been at their destination by now, but he wanted to use as little of his powers as possible today. He'd already used some to make this surprise work. After a few minutes, Gabriel finally parked the car by some trees.

"Okay Sam, close your eyes." Gabe said once both he and Sam were outside the car.

"Why?"

"Just close them." Gabe insisted.

"Fine." Sam sighed, and closed his eyes.

Gabe guided Sam down a dirt pathway, going downward. They walked for about 2 minutes, before Sam could hear the faint sound of waves crashing, and seagulls flying nearby. After another minute, he smelled that distinct salt water smell, and he felt the sun on his face.

"Okay. You can open."

Sam opened his eyes, looking in front of him. There was a large, dark red blanket laid out, with a basket in the middle, and a note on top of it.

Sam smiled when he saw it, and walked over, sitting down on the blanket. Gabe sat beside him. Sam picked up the note, and read it. He smiled wide and looked at Gabriel. He leaned over, kissing him quickly before pulling away too look inside the basket. There was a couple of  salads in there, as well as some sandwiches and brownies for dessert. There were also a couple water bottles.

"This looks delicious Gabe." Sam chuckled. Gabriel smiled proudly.

After they finished eating, they walked along the beach, talking and enjoying each other's company as they watched the sun slowly set.

Around 7:00, they returned back to the blanket and sat down, facing the sunset and the waves. Gabriel sat between Sam's legs, and laid against his chest. Sam wrapped one arm around Gabe's waist, and intertwined his hand with Gabe's, kissing his head.

"I love you Gabe." He said quietly.

"I love you too Samsquatch." Gabriel smiled.
