Heaven's Fire

Fire burns bright across the sky,

The rain of a thousand years falls upon a single moment in time.

Thrice blessed are those who look into the sky and know the wonder hidden there,

For they shall see the universe unfold in each heartbeat; in every ray of light.

Bright tongues of flame lance across the heavens,

Splitting reality with their brightness.

Burning like the souls of those long past,

Those eternal souls who stand waiting at the gates of heaven to bar entrance to the unworthy.

A thousand times a thousand years have we waited for this day,

The moment when time ends and eternity begins.

When all we know is no more, and destiny bears witness to the truths yet to come.

Burning colours tear at the mind,

Their beauty more than mere mortals can comprehend.

A million eons pass before the blink of an eye,

And heat without end chills the soul to new realms of being.

Heaven's Fire burns within us all,

A raging furnace and gentle glow that are unquenchable by time, and space, and evil.

It chases the shadows from our hearts,

Illuminates truths too powerful for us to understand.

Healing warmth it bestows upon us, while dealing death to the demons that hide inside our secret selves.

Only the burning brands that men call souls can defeat the darkness and increase the light of heaven.

Eternity awaits in every dancing flame,

Power beyond compare lies in the subtle interplay of fire and sky,

Waiting for us to claim our birth right and free the pure waves of evils destruction.

Then may we know the oneness of all,

The wonders that lie beyond the sky.
