One Mistake is all it Took

Left me smiling.

Mason POV:
I walk into the elevator just.. Flabbergasted. Words cannot even explain.. I'm just so. How did this happen?
I am in full shock.
Mia expects more from me though I guess.
She took my breath away when I first met her.
Her eyes glow.
Her smile is bright.
She's just.. Gorgeous.
I want to work this out.
I'm not really ready for a baby, but I sure as hell will get it together.
I want to be with Mia.
She's the only girl who has made me feel like this.
She makes me feel alive.
I mean that night. Before she was drunk. It was one of the best nights of my life.
It was amazing.
My thoughts are suddenly cleared when the elevator door opens and it dings really loudly disrupting my thoughts.
The door is open and I stare into oblivion for a few seconds.
Mia.
I press the 3rd floor button really fast and the door suddenly shuts and up I'm going again.
I'm gonna make this right.
The door opens to the third floor and I take an immediate left towards Mia's room. I burst in and there she is on her bed reading a book.
"Mia." I say gasping for air.
"Mason. What're you doing?" She asks as she sits up and sets her book down.

Mia POV:

"I want to make things right. I know I don't know you too well, but I want to be with you. I want to take care of the baby with you. I want to help you. I want to be there for you. I'll create a stable place for you to live. You can move in with me as soon as you'd like. I'm ready to take this on Mia. We will get through anything." He says. Tears nearly sprung to my eyes.
"Really? Mason.. That's amazing. Seeing how my mother kicked me out." I say looking down.
"Mia. It's okay. I'm here for you." He says smiling. He wobbles over and sits next to me on my bed. He slowly puts his hand in mine and holds on tight. "We can do this." He says kissing the back of my hand. I lean over and give him a hug.
"Thank you so much Mason." I say hugging him slightly.
"Anytime." He says flashing his smile. "I'm going to go though. I want to get homes get settled because I just got out like a hour ago." He says laughing.
"Okie dokie. I'll call you tonight. Okay? Have a safe trip home. I'll see you later." I exclaim smiling as he wobbled off out of the door for the second time.
I stare down at the number written on my arm.
He left me smiling.
