Familiar Faces

Mia POV:
After a half hour, Kacey is finally here.
"MIA!" She yells as she runs over in her heels and hugs me.
"Ugh. Kacey. I missed you so much! I have so much to tell you!" I exclaim.
"There was a cute guy in the-" she was cut off by a familiar voice.
"Uh. Hi. Mia. I don't know if you remember who I am.." He says trailing off. He stands on crutches and leans against the doorway. His blonde hair is messed up, but in a cute way.
"Mason.." I exclaim under my breath.
"Yeah....." He says awkwardly.
"YOU KNOW HIM?!?" Kacey asks. Eyebrows raised.
"Yeah.. Kacey. Mason. Mason. Kacey." I say introducing my best friend with.. Ugh. I can't even say it.
"Hi." He says flashing his smile.
"So Mason, I need to talk to you... Um. But I need to talk to Kacey too. Any chance you can possibly wait 10ish minutes?" I say raising my eyebrows.
"Sure. Why not." He says turning around and leaving. Kacey closes the door and raises her eyebrows at me.
"So who is that..?" She asks giving me a look. A way to familiar look. Like an ooh la la look.
"About that. So Remember the bonfire? I'm just gonna tell you straight up. I got really drunk that night and went home with Mason. Anyway, we um. Did it. And now I'm uh. Pregnant?" I say quickly trying to escape her look of doom.
"Wait wait. He's the..?" She asks cocking an eyebrow.
"Yeah, and my mom knows. And she told me I need to live elsewhere." I say rolling my eyes fighting back tears.
"Mia. You can stay with me.. Jakes gone for a month in Florida for work.." She says trailing off. Jake is her boyfriend/ maybe fiancée because Kacey is snoopy and found a ring and now she thinks he is going to propose. Kacey has been dating Jake since Freshman year, and they moved in together at the beginning of our sophomore year,which is also this year.
"Could I? I'll get on my feet and move out hopefully before Jake gets back. Thank you so much Kacey." I say hugging her tightly. I'm getting out tomorrow. So if you want to maybe come pick me up tomorrow?" I ask throwing the scenario out there.
"Yeah. I have to go home anyway. I'll call you later. Love you." She says giving me a tight hug and a kiss on the cheek. "Tell me how it goes with hot head over there." She says smirking as she walks out. I exhale in relief as she doesn't hate me. Thank god.
I take a deep breath as I'm ready to face Mason.
