One Mistake is all it Took

The next day

I called Kacey last night and she agreed to come pick me up this morning. I appreciate her offering for me to move in with her, but I'll probably go live with Mason as soon as I can. I'll stay at Kacey's for a few nights just so I get a feel for Mason. I'll hang out with him and stuff before I move in with him. He could be a mass murderer for all I know.

An hour later:
"Okay Mia. You're free to go." Says the nurse as Kacey takes my hand.
"Thank you. At least I'm not injured though. Mason has a broken leg." I say to Kacey. She nods her head in return and trails off in her own world.
"How about Starbucks and the Mall?" She asks laughing.
"Maybe tomorrow Kacey. I'm tired. I just wanna get out of here. Or maybe later. Can we just go back to your place and hang out for a bit?" I ask raising my eyebrows.
"You party pooper." Kacey says with a pouty face. "But alright. Whatever Miss. Diva wants." She says putting her nose in the air as she tries not to laugh. I hit her in return and she just laughs and goes along with it.
"I am NOT a diva!" I say stomping my foot on the floor. We just continue laughing as we leave the elevator. I'll finally get some fresh air. We come to the front doors that open wide and I step outside. It is so god damn nice out. It hasn't been this nice in awhile. It's finally spring. When I got here it was still chilly out. Now it's like 60 degrees.
We walk to Kacey's brand new car that her parents got her for her 16th birthday, and I get inside. Man I have misses cars. All of a sudden there is a knock on my car window as I turn around to buckle in my seatbelt. I fly around to see what it was and there he was. Mason stood there staring at me. I roll my window down, and smile.
"Mia.." He says smiling.
"What're you doing here?" I asked him laughing.
"Well, uh. I.. Uh.. Umm..." He says trailing off as he scratches his neck and looks the other way. He was blushing hardcore.
"You um? Haha. It's okay. But seriously. What're you doing silly?" I ask as I laugh. I unbuckle my seatbelt and get out of the car. He's taller than I remembered. And his leg. He's not on crutches..
"Hey. I thought I would surprise you by picking you up but its okay um. I'm sorry." He says laughing.
"Oh. Uh where are your crutches?" I ask peering at his leg.
"Yeah. My leg. It was only sprained. I came and got my cast off. And I was gonna pick you up. But it's alright. Just call me later. I guess." He says as he stares at the ground.
"Wait. Hold on." I say. I jump back into the car and roll the window up. Kacey's windows are tinted so he can't see us, but we can see him. And the view is nice.
"Kacey. He's here to pick me up." I say laughing.
"Oh my god. Look at him Mia! He's sooooo sexy!" She says giggling. He's wearing a skin tight gray shirt that shows off his nice body and he's wearing white shorts and his blonde hair is messed up, but in a cute way.
"Kace. (Case.) What do I do?" I exclaim excitedly.
"Go. Have fun. I'll text you later and come pick you up. Go." She says scooting me out.
"Kacey. Thank you. I love you so much." I say kissing her cheek slightly.
"Love you too." She says. I open the door and wave by to Kacey. I shut the door and we stood there awkwardly for a few seconds.
"Hey." He says smiling again. He's blushing. Oh my god. Girl moment.
"Hey. So uh. Kacey said she had some errands to do anyway so if you wanna just hang out.." I say laughing.
"Yeah. Um. We can go to my house." He says extending his hand out. I grab ahold of his hand and we walk to his car.
"How are you feeling?" I asked him. He just laughed and shrugged his shoulders.
"I'm okay. Oh I got a new car. My parents paid it all." He says laughing. He opens up the car door for me and new car scent fills my nose.
