We got into the club without having to wait in line. May knew the owner. When we walked in it was crowded. Everybody was dancing and having a good time. Before dancing me and May went to the bar.

"How can I help you fine ladies?" the bartender asked.

"SHOTS!!" May yelled
all I could do was laugh. While the bartender was fixing our shots May looked at me. "What are you hiding?" I looked confused because how did she know I was hiding something?

I looked down at the floor and sighed. " Okay, I found out that Alex is cheating on me with some chick." She looked at me like she felt sorry for me. "Do you know who she is?" "Carlos told me her name but that's all I know. I kind of saw this coming but it still hurt." The bartender gives us our shots." He smiled and winked at me. I couldn't help but blush

" Okay tonight is about revenge" May said with a shot in her hand. " What do you mean by that?"

" You are going to have sex with somebody tonight and forget about Alex."

" I can't do that." I said as I took a shot

" Of course you can but drunk Jess can." May had an evil smirk on her face so I knew that she was for real.

When I get drunk I tend to be a different person. I do crazy stuff and never remember what happened. I'm fun when I'm drunk.

I looked at May and knew she was right fuck Alex I need somebody to help me forget.

"Fine let's do it." "YES!!!"

So with that, we drank. A lot. I lost count of how many shots we had. I was having fun so it didn't matter. I drank I danced I was enjoying myself. May always brought out the worst in me but in a good way. She helped me get out of my shell.

"Hey Jess umm I'm gonna go home with him." She came up to me with a tall blonde white boy on her arm.

" You don't even know him May." She grabbed me and whispered in my ear.

" I do know that he is a good kisser and I wanna see what else his mouth can do."

I laughed "Okay just be careful." she and that white boy left so I just went back to the bar.

"Your friend left you I see." The bartender said as he walked up to me.

" Yeah, I'll just call my other friend i'm way too drunk to drive."

I picked up my phone and called Carlos. I couldn't call Alex I don't wanna deal with him.

"Yo wassup?"
" Hey, it's Jess i need a ride."
" Are you drunk?"
"Maybe..."
"Okay send me the address I'm on the way."
"Thanks, Carlos you the best." I hung up the phone and waited.

"I mean I can take you home if you want. You don't have to wait."

" No that's okay my friend is coming." I awkwardly looked at my phone.

The bartender kept trying to talk to me but he was weird so I ignored him. I waited for 20 minutes for Carlos.

"Hey, crazy lady let's go." I heard a voice from behind me and turned around to see Carlos.

"Yay, Carlos!!" I smiled I was happy to see him for some reason.

He took my hand and we walked to his car. He helped me in the passenger side of his car.

When he got in the car all I could do was look at him. Maybe it's the drinks but Carlos is very sexy when he drives.

" What?"

I quickly looked away. "Nothing Nothing." "So where are you going?" "Well, I don't wanna go home at all."

"Alright, my house it is."

" Are you sure?" " Of course I don't want you going home to Alex anyway I'm pretty sure I can take care of you for one night." He smiled

I always loved his smile it was so sweet. I smiled a little and just looked out the window. A few minutes later we arrived at Carlos's house.

He opened his car door for me and helped me to his front door. We walked into his house and I flopped on the couch.

"You sure you don't wanna sleep in a bed, Jess?" " I don't feel like walking anymore."

" Okay." After he said that he picked me up and carried me upstairs. He smelled like axe body spray.

He lay me on his bed. He took my shoes off and put the cover over me. "I'll sleep on the couch." He started to walk out of the room but something told me to stop him.

"Wait...Carlos...will you stay here with me until I go to sleep?" He smiled and crawled into the bed with me. He kept his distance and for some reason, I didn't like that. I turned on my side and faced him. He did the same so we were face to face. I smiled and it made him smile.

" So I noticed that you didn't tell Alex what you know."
" No, not yet i gotta wait until I have somewhere to go."
" You can always come here and I know that May would do anything to help you."
I smiled at the fact that he was so happy to help me when I needed it he was the best person I knew well other than May.

I yawned. "hey come here." he pulled me in his arms and I laid on his chest. I felt safe and comfortable. I know that with Carlos I didn't have to worry about anything he was a good friend.

I lay there in his arms until I fell asleep. I felt a gentle kiss on my head before I fell asleep and it made me smile.

Was I catching feelings for Carlos or was it because I was drunk either way for some reason I didn't mind it.
