Lesson5: My lover that I don't know (prt1)

Keisuke opens his eyes in a dim room and sees that he's alone in his huge mattress. Still sleepy he opens the light from the lampshade beside his bed, he stands and took one of the shirts from the luggage.

"It's night" – he said as he look at the time on the nightstand (6:32 pm) "Wait a minute, I slept that long? No wonder he's not here anymore" – he whispered in disappointment.

The prince went out of his room as his stomach starts to growl "Oh yeah, I haven't properly eaten since I locked myself in my room" – he said until he remembers what he did that afternoon with Hideya, his face turns red.

With bed hair and without his glasses, he decided to go downstairs supporting himself with the railings because his whole body hurts. He suddenly heard an explosion coming from the kitchen, with still blurry vision and lightheadedness he hurry down to check and see what happened.

"Ane-san!! What happened?!" – he exclaimed only to see the kitchen filled with smoke and Hideya coughing his eyes out.

"Hey, you're awake" – he greeted with teary eyes because of the smoke, the ginger prince stares at him with complete confusion on his face.

"What are you doing? Are you planning to burn the whole place down?" - Keisuke asked dumbfounded at what he is seeing in front of him.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know how to use most of the appliances here in your house. You see in my apartment all I have is a rice cooker, a microwave, and a small gas stove"

"I don't know what kind of appliance that might seem new to you here can cause such explosion"

"Hey, don't be so mean to me" – Hideya gently smiles "I heard that you haven't eaten anything since you decided to lock yourself in your room like some kind of emo kid"

"Talk about being mean" – exasperated, Keisuke.

"Oh dear, what happened here?" – exclaimed the maid.

"This is what will happen if you let a man who only knows how to use three kinds of appliances to cook dinner" - Keisuke uttered with his hands on his waist.

"I'm sorry Ane-san, I will be cleaning them later" – Hideya assured the maid.

"No don't worry about it, you can go ahead and eat your dinner, I will do the cleaning"

The two of them decided to eat in Keisuke's room.

"Hey Keisuke, why don't you want to eat in the dining room?" – Hideya asked as he carries the tray of food upstairs.

"I-I don't really have a good memory in that room" – he refers to one of the biggest rooms in the house which is the dining area.

"Why?"

"It's the place where my whole family gather when I was little, ever since they left I never had taken my food there" – Keisuke opens the door of his room.

"So you're telling me you've been having your meal here in your room?" – Hideya asked as he placed the food on the table inside Keisuke's room. The ginger prince's room has its own mini dining area at the corner near the window which can only accommodate two person.

"Yes or sometimes I go out to eat with friends"

"When you said friends, you mean Saki and Shohei"

Keisuke pause for a moment "Yes"

"He must have had a rough childhood to have such bad memory about having dinner with his family, or I could be wrong maybe he misses them so much that he can't bear to stay in the room where they used to gather for meal" – he said inside him as he watches the prince.
