Lesson6: Make believe (prt2)

"I'm done telling you my story, you start your story now" – Keisuke demanded.

"Alright, alright, what do you want to know?"

"How many girls have you slept with?!"

The brunette smiles feignedly "You sure that's the first thing you wanna ask me? I thought you were just joking?"

Keisuke nods as he intently stares at him.

"Okay fine" – Hideya said still with the smile on his face "To tell you honestly, just one"

"Just one? But when you're talking about it before, you keep on bragging that you slept with all the ladies you laid your eyes on"

"Hey, I never said that. Is that how I look like to you? A womanizer?"

Keisuke nods.

"Geez thanks, that kinda hurts me" – he said comically.

"So you're saying just one? Who is she? Where is she? Do you still see each other? Is it a serious relationship?" – Keisuke asked as he stares at him.

"Calm down, I will answer all of that" – Hideya said "He's kinda scary when asking like that" – he whispered.

"Her name is Akari Kobayashi"

After hearing the name Keisuke frowns "You and she became couples?"

"Yes and no"

"What do you mean?"

"Let's start from the very beginning. Kobayashi and I, we've known each other since we were little kids but not as a friend like you and Saki but because we are always in the same class, she had her own groups of friends and I had mine. She's one of the most popular girls in school at that time.

"Then?"

"At that time I have a big crush on Kobayashi"

"Then?"

"One of my friends told Kobayashi about my long-term crush. She went to me and asked me out"

"And you said yes?"

"Of course I did, to be asked by your crush on a date is like a dream come true. On our first date everything went well until our third date when she asked me into a hotel so we checked in and-" – Hideya looks at Keisuke who has a sharp glare on him "Hey, it happen a long time ago"

"You're so young and yet you did it and with a girl who is not even your girlfriend!" – Keisuke exclaimed.

"I'm sorry, every one of us made mistakes in our past" – Hideya said "Come on don't be upset"

"Alright just continue the story"

"Are you sure? Cause it seems like you will kill me anytime if I said something wrong" – Hideya said with a feigned smile "Actually I'm kinda scared" – he whispered.

"Just continue, promise I won't interrupt anymore" – Keisuke assured.

Although Hideya with a doubtful expression on his face, he continues to the story "Alright, so after that day I thought that would be the last but it became every month then every week then every time she asked me to" – Hideya said "One day she told me that she has a boyfriend, which at that time I'm already aware"

"But why did you continue on seeing her if you already knew that she has a boyfriend all those times?"

"Well because back then I was blinded by my love for her, I said I will endure and do anything just for her"

"So who is this guy? His boyfriend I mean?"

"He's a friend of mine"

"What?!" – Keisuke exclaimed.

"Yup, he's one of my friends who happen to be the leader of some small group of delinquent students"

Keisuke could not believe it "He was sleeping with his friend's girlfriend? I mean sleeping with a girl without commitment and at a very young age is worse enough but that..." – the ginger prince said inside his head.

"Even so our affair lasted for a year until one day I woke up and asked myself 'is this the life I wanted to live for the rest of my time?', I never thought that I would despise myself, I'm disgusted by my actions" – he said in a serious tone "I know Kobayashi will never love me, it was just a challenging game for her to slept with me and my friend" – said in a defeated tone.

"Hideya"

"I've decided to talk to her one day, I want to stop what we are doing. I thought she would understand me but instead, she threatened me that if I stop seeing her secretly behind his boyfriend, she will tell him everything"

"That's cruel" – Keisuke said with a sympathetic tone.

"I said I will do what's right because I can't live in a relationship without love. She did tell my friend about everything. One day when I was about to go home a group of delinquent students took me and beat me up for two days straight, they were my friend's underlings" – Hideya looks up the ceiling and there he can vividly see what happened that day "My big brother Masashi was able to locate where they hid me, he went to save me but in the middle of feud my friend opened fire and my brother took the bullets that supposed to kill me"

"Hideya"

"The police arrived, they took away my friend and is currently in jail. My big brother died before he was able to reach the hospital but before he died he asked me to promise him that I will always do the right thing"

What his brother's exact words are "Hideya, I'm sorry I can't be with you anymore but promise me that you will be a good person, that you will always do the right thing. You may be alone for now but someday you will find someone who will love you and stay with you forever"

"So that's how his brother died and those people who attacked him probably the same delinquents from his previous school seeking revenge for what happens to their leader" ­– Keisuke remembers the time Hideya got attacked.

"And after that, I was hospitalized for 5 months and got released in time for the school year, I enrolled at our school and there I met you as my tutor and then here we are, fall in love with each other, and now I'm lying down in a bed with you naked" – Hideya said happily, he looks down only to see Keisuke with teary eyes.

"Hey, why are you crying?"

"How can you laugh like that" – the ginger prince said sniffing "That was tragic"

"Come on, there's nothing to be sad about. I mean yes it's tragic but there's a lot of other things that I should be thankful for" – Hideya said as he hugs Keisuke, he hugs him back "Like meeting you, I was alone until you came along and changes everything in my life. I'm very thankful for that"

"Hideya" – Keisuke hugs him tight as he cries silently.

They savor the moment laying there hugging each other.

"Hey, Hideya"

"Hmn?"

"Uhm... can I ask you a favor?"

"Yes, what is it?"

"Can you be more gentle when we... well... doing it? My whole body hurts" - Keisuke said shyly.

"I'm sorry, I promise I will" - Hideya gently laughs "Well my back hurts" - he added inside his head, he was referring to the red scratches on his back.
