Lesson13: Childhood friends

The two of them end up lying down on Hideya's old bed.

"I told you, we can fit here because you're portable" – Hideya smiles.

"Say that again and I'll kill you" – the ginger as he buries his face on the brunette's chest. Hideya hugs him tight "You're squeezing me again"

"I can squeeze you more if I want to" – the brunette whispered then he kisses his ginger hair that made Keisuke blush.

Trying to push him away "You know I could die in suffocation right?"

"Don't worry, if you die I will follow you right away" - he answered carelessly and with enthusiastic tone as if death is something that he's never been afraid of.

Keisuke remembers the scar that he saw on Hideya's wrist "Hey, Hideya?"

"Hmn?"

"Your mother told me that you were hospitalized because you attempted to kill yourself" – the ginger said sheepishly.

Hideya didn't respond right away.

"It's alright if you don't want to talk about it" – Keisuke quickly said.

"Yes, I did" – Hideya answered in a serious tone.

"Why?"

"Because of me my brother died and my friend is in jail, I thought that I don't have the right to walk freely nor live" – he added.

"But you didn't intend those things to happen" – the ginger reasoned out.

"Even if I intended it or not, I can't change the fact I'm the reason why everything happened" – the brunette answered.

Keisuke didn't respond and hugs Hideya.

"But you know what" – the brunette said as he lift the ginger's face "When you said those" – he was referring to "...Free yourself from the shackles of the past that binds you, forgive yourself" – he smiles "I learned to forgive myself, because of you I set myself free from my past. There are no words that can express how happy I am that I found you"

Even in the dim room only lit by the moonlight, Keisuke's eyes shine as tears starts to form.

"Hey, don't tell me your crying again?" – Hideya changes his tone to more relaxed and casual.

"No, I'm not"

"Yes, you are"

"No, I'm not!"

"Yes, you are!"

The two of them starts to argue and made a loud noise.

"WILL THE BOTH OF YOU SHUT UP! YOU'RE TOO NOISY!" – Kyoko shouted from the other room. The pair quietly giggles like kids as they stare in each other's eyes in that dim room.

"I love you, Keisuke" - Hideya whispered.

Keisuke shyly whispered back "I love you too, Hideya"

The next morning.

"Thank you for having me" – said Keisuke as he bows down to Kyoko.

"We will be leaving now mother" – said Hideya.

"Take care of yourself, don't forget my house is always open for you if you wanted to visit" – said Kyoko to Keisuke.

"Hey, mother I'm here unless you forget" – Hideya whines.

"Oh yeah you take care of Keisuke" – his mother answered.

Hideya's eyes roll "Wow, so he's your son now and ignores me"
