"What? So you're telling us that the marriage with that Sendo girl is for real?" – Saki exclaimed while looking at the tall male walking beside her.

"Yep, apparently my family has a huge amount of debt that we inherited from our great grandparents, my wonderful mother thinks that forcing me to marry Sendo's only daughter will solve the problem" – Shohei explained as they walk down the street going home.

"But you're not even in the right age to get married!"

Shohei gave out a sign of exhaustion "For my mother everything is possible and she said it's after my graduation"

"So you're actually going through it?"

"I don't know, and they said we will be living the country as soon as we got married to manage some of the businesses of their family"

"That's crazy!" – the girl sounded angry "Have you told Kei-kun about it?"

"Yes" – he answered "I guess I can leave this place now without any burden, I know that Keisuke has forgiven me and considers me as his friend so I'm all go-" – he got interrupted.

"Shut up!" – Saki shouted "You're just gonna leave us like that? What about our promise that the three of us will always stay together?"

Shohei chuckled and pats her head "You know that's only a childhood dream, soon we all have to live as an adult and the reality of life isn't like that. Life should be live where ever our fate leads us and for me, this is my fate"

Saki decided to go to Keisuke's house that Saturday, she found him studying for the next year's subject, those are from Shohei's class.

"Is everything alright?" – Keisuke asked as he placed the drinks in front of Saki in the living room.

Saki didn't respond instead tears start to roll down her cheeks that makes Keisuke panic, he doesn't know what to do and why she is crying.

"What happened? Are you alright?" – he asked in a worried tone.

She never felt so alone in her entire life. She quickly remembers all the times that the three of them spent together and how far they've become for the past 7 years, everything has changed drastically that she can no longer keep up.

"Kei-kun"

"Yes?"

"What do you think is our future?"

Keisuke tilted his head "What do you mean?"

"Do you think once we all graduate high school, we are all still be friends?" – she asked.

It gave the ginger a vague idea of why his friend is crying, she's overwhelmed with all the changes.

"I can't say that we can still see each other more often like before but what I can guarantee you is that Saki and Shohei-senpai will hold a special place in my heart forever, you two are my best of friends in the world and nothing can ever change that" – he said with the warmest smile.

Those words made her cry even more "Thank you" – she can barely say the words as she hiccups.

Later that day Saki said goodbye and went home. Hearing that from her also gave him the same feeling of fear of the unknown, fear of what the future holds. The feelings of nostalgia and melancholia swirling inside him, he never thought that someday they might go on with life without those people they become friends with and have a great impact on their lives.

He got pulled out from his own thoughts when his phone rings.

"Hello?"

"Keisuke I'm on my to your house, do you have anything you wanted me to buy? Do you want me to get you that dessert you always ask?"
