Lesson10: Farewell to my old self (prt2)

At the abandoned shipping dock.

Keisuke opens his eyes into an unfamiliar place, he tries to move only to realize that both his hands are tied and his legs are bound together. His eyes roam around the room, the place is in shambles, ceilings are almost falling down, wall's paint is chipping, and papers are scattered all over the place. At the very end of the room is a sofa that has seen better days, there he can make up a silhouette of a person.

"So the prince is finally awake, I didn't expect that amount of chloroform will render you unconscious for almost half a day" - said a female voice, that person walks towards him.

Still dizzy and having blurry vision Keisuke managed to pull himself up to sit down and saw the girl is Akari.

"What do you want from me? If this is about Hideya, I've told you I have nothing to do with him anymore" - he said with slurred speech.

"Shut up!" - she scowled "I brought you here to get revenge on that common person we know"

"Revenge?"

"Because of you this group has no more leader, because of you he has changed... because of you he doesn't want to return to me" - Akari said with the last words in a whisper.

Keisuke is bewildered by what the girl said "What did you say?"

"That's right! You're the reason why he's not here with me so you must die!" - the girl pointed a gun directly to Keisuke's forehead then all of a sudden give out a wicked laugh "But I won't, for now, I want to see his face when witnesses you died in front of him like his brother!"

"You're evil"

"Yes I am" - she answered "For now I will enjoy torturing you"

Not long, Hideya was able to get into the abandoned shipping dock. As he entered the place he was greeted by a group of young individuals most of them are familiar to Hideya as they were his former subordinates when he was still leading the group.

"Welcome back boss" - said one man holding a bat in his hand.

Another man approaches and said "It's been a while boss"

"So this is the infamous ex-leader Dazai? Doesn't seem much to me" - said one of the new members.

Hideya with a blank expression on his face "Where is Keisuke?" - he asked with a cold voice.

"So the main guess has arrived?" - Akari emerges from an old building "Should we start the party?"

The tall brunette male shifted his glare to the girl walking towards the center "Where is he?"

"Who?" - the girl sneered.

"If anything happens to him I swear I will kill you" - Hideya angrily said, his fists are tightly close that it bleeds because of the insignia of Keisuke in his hands.

"That's too early to ask for the main event of the party" - Akari said with a sinister smile "He's still alive... for now"

Soon the two of them are surrounded by the gang members.

"So you manage to lead this group of lawless people" - Hideya smirks "I pity you, you still haven't surpassed your own past"

"Shut up! I end up like this because of you! It's all you're fault!"

"I think you missed the part that you're the one who actually did this to yourself"

Parts of Akari's story to Keisuke were true but one thing is not, Hideya didn't force Akari at all to do those things in the past. She's the one who seduced Hideya despite knowing that he is friends with Hiro who at that time was her boyfriend. 

It was one of Hideya's greatest regrets in life, if he could turn back the time he would never let those things happened.

"You said you're doing this for Hiro and the group but in actuality, you just want me back" - Hideya snorts, he is well aware of her feelings for him.

Akari's anger arises seeing Hideya with arrogance in his face "Let's see if you can still laugh after this" - she snaps her finger and the group start attacking him only to be evaded by Hideya. He did not become the leader of the group just for nothing.

"My only mistake which until now I regretted the most is I granted your wish, because of that one night everything falls apart, because of that my brother dies and my friend is in jail" - he said as he stands after defeating the small group who attacked him.

Akari started to lose her temper and she asked one of the men to bring out Keisuke. The man throws Keisuke like a doll, he is soaking wet with his own blood and barely moving.

"Keisuke!" - Hideya shouted "What did you do to him?!" - this ignites rage inside him.

"H-Hideya?" - Keisuke said inside him as he tries to open his eyes.

Akari quickly grabs Keisuke by his hair pulling him upwards "Aw poor thing, I can't still believe that after all that beating up you still have that pretty face of yours" - she said as she stares into his blue eyes "I wonder if I destroy that face will Hideya still care of you?" - she laughs. His face is covered with his own blood and his white uniform are now crimson red because of the same fluid gushing all over his body.

Hideya was about to run towards them when Akari pointed a gun on Keisuke's temple "Come closer and your precious little prince will die" - Akari taunted "Now, Hideya Dazai you have choices: stay here with me and became the leader of the group and this brat will live on or you both die" - she said angrily.

"H-Hideya, don't listen to her.. get-get out here" - Keisuke barely uttered the words.

Hideya's tears are at bay seeing him all beaten up and barely moving.

"I'm sorry" - said Keisuke as his tears rolls down his cheeks.

Akari throws Keisuke "Shut up!"

"How dare you hurt him?!" - Hideya trembles in anger.
