It was time for their true mission. Tommy flew over the walls on the stronghold, pulling Ranboo up with him. Tubbo scaled the wall at almost the same pace. They were going to attempt to find Technoblade.

The three ran across the wall. Some foot soldiers were at an outpost. Ranboo pushed his friends down as one looked over. There were four in the post. The boys were asked not to kill unless absolutely necessary.

Tubbo nodded to the side of the outpost, grabbing Ranboo's hand and dragging him to the edge of the wall. The goat boy grabbed the wall and swung him and Ranboo off the edge.

The enderman yelped softly, holding tight to Tubbo, "what are you doing!?"

"Just trust me!" Tubbo whispered back.

He started swinging them across to the other side of the outpost. It took a few tries, but Tubbo eventually flung Ranboo over to the other side. Ranboo landed heavily on the stone. He quickly pushed himself up to help Tubbo across. Tommy glided over, almost falling as he landed.

"Everyone okay?" Ranboo asked as they got to a safe place.

Tubbo nodded, "yeah, I'm good."

"I'm okay." Tommy said.

"Your wing?" Ranboo asked.

Tommy rolled his wing, "little sore. I can keep going."

Ranboo nodded, "alright. Let's keep going. Once we get close enough, the compasses should start working."

Tubbo smirked, "then let's get into the castle."

The boys looked at the looming castle. All that was in between was a courtyard of giant mushrooms. It was... Unexpected. Why would a spiteful god have a mushroom patch?

"I think we can jump across the mushrooms." Tubbo said, "there doesn't look to be any security there."

Ranboo hummed, "I don't recognize these mushrooms... They could be deadly."

"So, it's a no go for the mushrooms." Tommy nodded, then sighed, "I might be able to carry you both across."

"No." Ranboo immediately shook his head, "your wing still needs to heal. Flying us both is a last resort."

"I kinda have to agree with Ranboo on this one." Tubbo said as Tommy turned to him, "if we get in trouble and you can't fly us out..."

Tommy pulled his wings in, "I get it. Okay."

"I think we can-" Ranboo started.

The boys heard shouting behind them. Soldiers with glowing green eyes were running at them from both sides. They were cornered. Time seemed to slow as the soldiers rushed in.

Tommy grabbed Ranboo and Tubbo, launching into the sky. He grit his teeth at the sharp pain in his shoulder and back, but kept flying across the courtyard, ignoring the shouts of his friends. There was a stained glass window. If he could get there, they could break in.

But luck did not seem to be on their side. An arrow stuck deep into Tommy's side. He cried out in pain, unable to keep the three of them up any longer.

"What are you thinking!?" Ranboo yelled as they crashed on the roof of the castle.

"I wasn't really!" Tommy snapped, gasping in pain as he rolled onto his back.

"Shit, Tommy!" Tubbo placed his hands around the arrow, making his friend cry out in pain as he applied pressure, "Ranboo do something!"

Ranboo inhaled sharply. He didn't notice the arrow. The enderman quickly dug through his bag, searching for bandages and health potions as Tubbo tried to stop the bleeding. When he found what he needed, he quickly packed the bandages around the arrow.

"This is going to hurt." Ranboo warned.

"It already-!" Tommy screamed as Ranboo ripped the arrow out.

"FUCK!" Tommy gasped, "why'd you do that!?"

Ranboo poured the potion over the wound. Tubbo watched in amazement at Tommy's skin healed right before his eyes.

"Sorry, we don't exactly have time to be gentle." Ranboo grimaced, his tail flicking, "can you walk?"

Tommy huffed, pushing himself up, "yeah, I can walk, dickhead."

"Oh my god!" Tubbo pulled Tommy into a tight hug, "never do that again!"

"I'll try," Tommy laughed, "but they're coming back again!"

Sure enough, the soldiers had made their way into the roof. Masks were staring to scale the wall of the castle, making deep marks in the side as they chased the boys.

Ranboo grabbed Tommy, pulling him up towards the window they were aiming at before. Tubbo jumped up, landing on the sill. He helped pull Tommy up until all three were standing in front of a stained glass window.

There were three pictures in the glass. A flame on the left, streaming golden light into what looked to be a throne room. To the right was a mushroom, overlapping the gold with red. And at the top, was a white circle with a black smiley face inlaid into it. Ranboo shivered when he saw it.

"This way!" Tubbo pulled them up through an open panel.

Tommy grabbed Ranboo, using his wings to glide down to the floor. Tubbo jumped back and forth from the wall to a column, making his way down. Tommy fell to his knees as he and Ranboo landed.

"Are you okay!?" Ranboo asked, holding Tommy up.

"I'm-I'm fine." Tommy told him.

Tubbo ran towards him, "Tommy!"

"I'm okay! Really." Tommy said.

The three heard footsteps walking towards them. They looked up to see a man standing in front of them.

"Well well well," the man smiled, tucking his long hair back, "look who finally showed up."
