T.W.: major character deaths

The boys stumbled as they were teleported to a strange place. A small town layed before them, completely desolate. Torn, red and blue flags hung from empty stands and houses. A small lake pooled under the town.

XD ran his hand over the top of a jukebox as he walked towards the boys. The box started playing a haunting melody. Something so familiar, yet so out of place in this time.

So with Mellohi playing through the air, the battle started.

Swing after swing. Attack after attack. The three boys threw everything they had at the God. XD just deflected every attempt as if it was an annoying fly.

He threw Tubbo back as the shorter boy jumped at him. Ranboo took the opening, only to be slammed into the ground. Tommy rushed forward and was immediately flipped onto his back.

But the boys pushed themselves up again. Determination overrode their terror. They had to win. Their lives, the lives of their friends, their family, all depended on it! On them! They slashed at the God. Every time getting closer and closer to harming XD. To finally putting an end to a devastating war.

But DreamXD didn't seem to be affected. Simply ducking and stepping to the side to avoid the clash of weapons. He seemed to enjoy it, a small smile on his face as he weaved through the boys. It was just a game to him. A silly little game.

The boys were starting to tire, their breaths coming heavy and fast. Ranboo grit his teeth. He lunged forward towards the God. The scythe swung through the air on a straight path to hit XD. Ranboo felt a spark of hope.

The god caught the weapon with his bare hands. He smiled at the enderman hybrid. Ranboo's eyes widened in shock.

"Nice try, little one." XD laughed lightly.

Ranboo was thrown back into the side of one of the houses. His limp body fell into the lake below with a quiet splash.

"RANBOO!" Tubbo screamed, running towards the edge.

The goat boy was harshly pulled back by his collar. Tubbo gasped for air as he was held up to the god's face. XD smiled at him, tilting his head.

"No no, you can't help him now." The god told him, continuing with a shrug, "or ever."

XD took the sword from Tubbo's hand, plunging the blade deep into the boy stomach. The boy fell to the floor. His eyes forever open in pain and fear. A perfect mask of death.

Tommy ran towards his friend, "TUBBO!"

The boy collapsed next to Tubbos body. He shook the boys limp figure, begging, praying to any God that Tubbo wasn't actually dead. Tubbo couldn't be dead.

"Tubbo!?" Tommy sobbed, "Tubbo come on! We-we have to sa- we have to save Ranboo!"

The boy fell forward, crying into his friends shoulder. His wings pulled forward to shield Tubbo's body from sight.

"Tubbo. Even though, for this entire adventure, I've always regarded you as... as my- as my sidekick. Really, Tubbo, I was- I was your sidekick." Tommy whimpered, "Please don't go... Please don't go..."

Tommy felt a hand on his head. He didn't look up as XD ran his fingers through his hair, gently pulling out the tangles cause from the fight. The boy couldn't gather the strength anymore.

"It's alright." XD sighed, "you're just children. There's no way you could have beaten me. How cruel it was for them to send you, knowing you would die."

XD crouched in front of Tommy, "it's okay. It's over now. You can rest."

Tommy didn't want to. He didn't want to leave. He'd miss Phil and Techno, and Shroud would look for him. Michael wouldn't be able to play with his illusions again. He'd never hear another one of Wilbur's songs, or hug him, or get into another fight with him. Tommy didn't want to leave that behind.

But the boys eyes were growing heavy. He was so tired. The fight had pulled everything out of him. His wings drooped. The blonde boy fell to his side, right next to his friend.

It was there that this story ends. In a small town, devastated by disaster. A place so almost familiar it seemed like they had lived there the whole time. And in the silence, a lone god stood. Faint sounds of explosions reached his ears, perhaps from a distant dream he had.

In this small town, the three boys di-
