I knew something was coming, I just didn't know what it was. Everything had been going too well ever since we had dinner, almost as if I was in a fairytale. We had flown back to London a couple of weeks ago and I was staying at Xander's almost full time now. He was at the hospital more often and I had finished my last exam today, graduation was just around the corner.

"How do you feel about it?" Duncan asked.

I hated when people asked about exams after they were finished, absolutely hated it.

"Just went through, not thinking about it too hard, the results will show."

"You're already a smart-ass so you don't have to worry," Duncan slung an arm around my shoulders.

I had gotten back into track and I was hanging out with Duncan more since I came back. Xander had gotten super busy at the hospital and with swim training so I took the time to catch up with my other friends.

"Why don't you come over? I can invite over some people, make it a party to celebrate," he suggested.

Truthfully, I was tired. I didn't want any loud music or drunk college students near me, a small group of friends would do just fine.

"Not up for the partying, maybe just chill."

"When did you turn into such a pussy Romanetti? We used to party almost every weekend, girls and booze non-stop."

Yeah, that was until I got a hot boyfriend that belonged to an affluent and dangerous Colombian cartel. I knew I had someone following me everywhere, Xander had made sure to put security with me at all times since the shooting incident. He was always doing mental checks which I appreciated, I really didn't deserve him.

"Time to settle down," I answered him.

"Whatever, let's go," he rolled his eyes.

Duncan drove to his house, I saw two cars already parked in the garage when we arrived, Reid and Hyun-Min were here. In the side-view mirror I could see the black SUV parked down the road, Raul,  my new body-guard.

"These bastards beat me to it," he cursed parking on the curb.

Duncan always had people over, his parents were always traveling. I went ahead of him, giving a nod in Raul's direction before I went inside where I was met with the stench of alcohol and weed immediately.

"Out that thing, will ya," I coughed.

"Romanetti!" Reid stood up, "I feel like I haven't seen you since that party you bastard."
