Sunlight streamed into his room through his blinds waking him from his rest. Seth rolled over and checked the time on his nightstand,

7:21 a.m.

He had an Italian class at 3 then another physics lecture at 4:30.

A physics lecture with Duncan. His thoughts drifted back to last night's events,

The girl that looked like Xander.

Calling out Xander's name while he had sex with someone else.

Duncan standing outside the door watching and listening to him while he did.

He groaned and mentally slapped himself. Seth jumped out of bed and headed for the kitchen, only food could make this situation better. He opened his fridge to find two cans of beer, an egg and a container of butter. He figured it was time for a trip to the supermarket.

Pushing his cart along the aisles, he checked his list one more time to ensure he had everything he had written down. Upon seeing the baking section Seth remembered his grandmother making dessert for him whenever there was a celebration for one of his achievements. He ambled along grabbing a few ingredients and decided he would make his favourite, flan.

"You like baking?"

He knew that voice anywhere. Seth turned around and there he was in all his 6'3" glory dressed in a white fitted t-shirt and black jeans.

"Just a one time thing," he responded keeping his head down, he didn't think he could face him.

He moved closer towards Seth, "What are you going to make?"

"Flan," he took a step back.

Xander peered into his cart and looked thoughtfully, "You're missing a few things for la leche."

"La leche?" Seth looked at him in confusion.

"Back home that's what my grandmother would call it, Colombia," he said picking up ingredients and putting them into the cart.

So he wasn't from here after all. Seth stared at him intently watching as his shirt lifted as he reached to the top shelf, showing a slight bit of skin. From where he was Seth could see his toned stomach and the prominent V-line that went down into his jeans.

Why the fuck was he watching another guy? He was not gay.

"That's it," he said, "You're all set for some good flan."

"Thanks."

"Seth," he spoke, "I meant it when I said I liked you."

Seth's eyes grew wide as he looked around to see if anyone had heard him.

"Are you crazy?" he whispered, "Don't let anyone hear you saying shit like that to me, I'm not gay."

"Actually I'm bi-sexual but I am crazy, for you," he grinned, dimples forming on his cheeks.

Seth grew flustered, his face heating up, "I don't care what the fuck you are but I won't be apart of it."

He pushed his cart to the checkout area hastily, seeing Xander walk past him going outside.

"Your total is 57.88 pounds sir," the cashier said.

Seth winced a little as he heard the total, pulling out his wallet. He looked at all the bags piling up as the groceries were being packed in. How was he going to walk with all of these? Seth retrieved his change and receipt then picked up the 6 bags on the counter. Fuck they were heavy, he thought.

Seth waddled outside with the bags, his arms felt as if they were about to fall off.

"Want help?"

His heart jumped out of his chest.

"Don't fucking do that, you scared the living shit out of me," he deadpanned.

"Sorry, just wanted to help."

Seth looked at him, he only had two bags in his hand as well as car keys. He really needed the help but did he really want to be stuck in a car with a guy who could possibly molest him? No.

"No thanks, my apartment is just a few minutes walk from here," Seth stated walking away causing Alexander to grab his arm.

"Seth, just hear me out, I know you're not gay but you could at least let me help you," his eyes were pleading, "I'm not going to eat you."

Seth shrugged off his arm and sighed in defeat, "Okay."

Xander's face lit up in delight and he relieved Seth's arms from the weight of his groceries and led him towards his car.

}{

The car ride was silent. Seth was too afraid to say anything to Alexander or even look at him because he thought he might stare too long. Alexander pulled up to the building and helped Seth take the bags up towards his apartment.

"This one," Seth said pushing his key into apartment 205, his residence.

They bustled in, Seth walking into the kitchen and placing the groceries on the island. Alexander placed the rest and stood stationary.

"Well thanks for the help Alexander."

"Why are you so afraid?" he inched closer towards Seth.

"What are you talking about?"

His palms were sweaty and his head was filling with countless thoughts as he was being cornered. Alexander had him sandwiched between the counter and his tall frame.

"I know you want me Seth, you keep denying it because you're afraid to try," he leaned down to whisper in his ear, "Just try."

Seth held down his head, emotions were overwhelming him, "Why are you doing this to me?" he whispered.

Xander was silent.

"You make me feel so fucking inferior then you tell me that you like me, when there's nothing to me. I can't get you out of my fucking head and it's driving me crazy and I have no idea why because I'm not gay," he shouted while pounding against Xander's chest.

Alexander held onto his hands making Seth flinch, "Don't touch me please," he whispered.

He released his hands from his grasp. Seth looked up at him with tears welled in his eyes, it made Xander's heart hurt. He reached forward and captured his lips with his own, placing his hands on either side of the counter, trapping him.

Seth knew he should have pushed him away but there was something about his lips that captured him and made his legs go weak underneath him. He pulled away panting and let the tears fall from his eyes.

"Why?" he whispered

"You're beautiful Seth, everything about you is breath taking. From when you sat beside me on the bus I was attracted to you and even if you do push me away I'll still be attracted to you."

Seth closed his eyes and thought about it carefully then released a breath, "Please don't fuck this up for me."

Xander grinned and kissed his cheek, "I won't, I swear on my medical licence."
