The rest of the day felt a bit strange to me, as I could tell that my friend Ashton did not really trust me all too much any more, which I felt like I could not blame him for, as I was not all too sure as to just what it was that I was thinking by talking to that orc that claimed to be my mother. She told me that she had known that I was near by, as she had told me that 'an orc mother always knows when their child is near them'. It still kind of felt quite a bit weird that she was calling me her mother, as before now, I would have kind of thought that I did not have a mother. My father, the human father of course, had told me that my mother had given me to him, but that kind of felt like she had kind of betrayed me, all at the exact same time too. Well, if I was to be for real with my self though, I really did not want to live in an orc community how ever, as I felt like I would rather live with the humans, even if they did not treat me all too well. I suppose, the legion was getting used to me at this point, at least I thought they were, based off of the fact that instead of looking at me in disgust, they now just mainly ignore me.
I was fine with that if I was going to be for real with my self how ever, as I did not like at all, the fact that they always stated at me with a nasty look on their face a lot of the time, as if they had some sort of evil plan to try to take me down, when I had not done any thing wrong to them. I knew that a lot of them were jealous of me, due to the fact that I was so strong, which I knew that I could really not help, but I felt like they did not know the negatives that came with that one single positive. There was all sorts of bad shit that went through my head a lot of the time, as well as the fact that every one treated me like trash at the exact same time too. I suppose that I should not be all too worried about all of that right now, all at the exact same time too, as I did my best to get my focus off of all of those thoughts, and I tried to get my focus on some thing that was completely different than the rest of that none the less. I breathed in quite a bit to my self, as I did my best to try not to get all too worried about all of that.
I got my eyes instead, on just what it was that was going on right at this very moment in time, which just so happened to be the fact that the other legions were coming back from the raid that they had done on the orc village, which, as much as Ashton thought that it bothered me, it really did not bother me all too much at all. I felt like a lot of that had to do with the fact that I still had my mind on the orc that had claimed to be my mother, all at the exact same time as well, as I blinked my eyes a few times, doing my best to shake off all of those thoughts, as I knew that I could not dwell on it for too long. I felt like, if I thought on it for any longer, than I might go and snitch on my self to Callan or Tanner, or worse, the leader of the other legions, which I knew for a fact, I did not want to do, as it seemed like that man was looking for any kind of excuse to get rid of me, or to maybe even kill me, all at the exact same time as well never the less.
I saw the look that the man had on his face, all at the exact same time as well, as he was walking back up the hill, with such a big smile, as it seemed like all of that was some sort of fun game to him, which seemed to be a bit strange to me, as I wondered if he might be acting that way to get in to my head, and try to throw me off a bit, but it did not seem like he was paying me all that much attention how ever, and it more or less did in fact seem like he had actually enjoyed what it was that had gone on at the village, and the fact that he had gone out to massacre a bunch of innocent orcs. Though I suppose that they were in fact orcs, which I knew that I had to remind my self of, as I was not all too sure as to just how innocent they could be in the very first place any ways. I breathed in a bit to my self at the exact same time too, as I then shook my head, doing my best to try not to get all too worried about that man at all, as I instead looked at all of the other soldiers that had made it out of the village.
I wondered if they had the same look as he had, but as I looked at them, that did not seem to be the case at all, as it seemed like instead, the looks that they had on their faces, were quite a bit of a blank look, as it seemed like they had no sort of emotion, and they were not even thinking on what it was that they had done to that orc village, as it seemed like their mind was in a different state so to say, right at this very moment in time. I stared at them for a little bit longer, as I tried to guess as to what it was that they were thinking, but I knew that I was not the smartest person around, and that was going to be quite a bit hard for me, so I kind of gave up on that after a little bit of some time passed. If I had to guess more or less, the look that they had on their faces, might have some thing to do with a little bit of guilt that they did not want to admit to, as I was sure that they had been in that legion for quite a bit of some time, and I was sure that they were used to it at this point, never the less.
I blinked my eyes a few times, as I then looked away from them all of the sudden, as I got my focus on some thing much different than them right now, as I had my focus instead, on the fact that Tanner had stood up to the entire legion that we were in, all in front of us, all at the exact same time as well, as it seemed like he too had a bit of a blank look on his face, which I had to guess had some thing to do with the fact that based off of how old he was, as I had to guess he was around the same age as my father, was that he had been doing this for quite a while now, and it did not bother him all too much any more, which I suppose, if he really had been in the army for so long, than I felt like I would be the same as he was, never the less. I blinked my eyes a few times, as I felt like that was besides the point, as I knew that I was not the leader of the legion, and likely never would be, as I knew that no one would listen to an orc at all.
I sighed a bit to my self, as I just looked at Tanner for quite a bit of some time, until he then all of the sudden coughed quite a bit loud, as it was clear that he was trying to get the attention of every one that was around him, on him right now. I already had my eyes on him, as I realized that he was about to speak to all of us right away, but it was clear that not every one was the same as I was, as I could see from the corner of my eyes, that a lot of the people still had their heads low to the ground, as I could tell that a lot of them were quite a bit lost, as well as the fact that it was clear that they were a bit bothered by what it was that they had just seen, which was not the case at all to me, though I suppose I had not been there for all too much of it either, so I could not really brag about that at all. I breathed in quite a bit to my self, all at the exact same time as well, I got my focus off of all of the people that were moving quite a bit uncomfortably around me right at this very moment in time, and I got my eyes back on to Tanner instead.
Tanner just seemed to be staring at all of the people that were in the legion still, with the same blank look that I had seen on his face before, as it was clear to me that he could tell that every one here was bothered by what it was that they had seen, and it was clear that he was trying not to be all too bothered by it at the exact same time as well. As I was looking at Tanner for just a little bit longer, I saw his eyes flicker on to mine, but that went away quickly, as he realized that I was already looking at him, which had me a bit lost, as well as the fact that I was quite a bit confused as to just what it was that was going on with the man right at this very moment in time, in the very first place any ways. I tilted my head a bit, but it was clear that he was no longer paying me any sort of attention, as he instead began to start to speak up to the entire legion that was with me, and that I was in right at this very moment in time. I blinked my eyes a few times, due to the fact that I was in fact quite a bit lost, but in the end, I did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what it was that he had to say to every one around us, all at the exact same time as well, as I just kind of stared with quite a bit of a blank look on my face.
"I know that it is a lot to take in, but I hope you know that soon you will be doing the same as these brave soldiers just did..." He began to say to every one, all at the exact same time too, as I saw that a few people were quite a bit lost by the way that he had phrased it, which I did not blame them for, as I too did not really view the soldiers as all too brave, based off of the fact that they had attacked an orc village that had not seen them coming, and not really had all too much of a chance to defend them selves, nor did they have all too fair of a chance to be able to defend the fact that they had families, and children in a lot of those houses, which based off of the fact that I saw no sort of movement from the village, and based off of the look that I saw on many of the faces of the people that had just attacked the village, I had to guess that they had killed all of the young kids that had even been in the village, which did in fact make me feel quite a bit sick, as I remembered that my father had told me that humans did not do that to other human village when ever it was that they attacked those. Though I suppose a lot of that had to do with the fact that I knew when ever it was that a human army attacked a human village, they usually took over it to make it a part of their own kingdom, as I shook my head, shaking off all of those thoughts from my head, all at the exact same time as well, as I did my best to try not to get all too worried about all of that, all at the exact same time as well, as I then got my focus back on to Tanner instead, as I heard him begin to start to speak to the legion once again, as it was clear that he could see the look of guilt on the faces of a lot of the soldiers that were in our own legion right now, due to the fact that we all knew that we were going to have to do the same as them very soon from now. Tanner had his eyes squinted, as it was clear that he was not all too happy with them, as he then began to speak up in a not so happy tone all of the sudden, all at the exact same time as well, as I looked at him dead in to his eyes once again, as I listened as to just what it was that he even had to say in the very first place any ways, none the less. "This is war... This is what you all signed up for... You can't wussy out now, you all are going to have to get used to it... If we don't attack them, than they will attack us before we have the chance... They are too close to our homes..."
Tanner said it to every one with quite a bit of some authority, all at the exact same time as well, as it was clear that he was trying to make sure that every one had heard each and every word that he had just said, as it was clear that he was not all too happy with the looks that he saw on every one's faces, which I suppose that I could not blame him for either, as I was sure that I would not be all too happy with it, if I was the leader of my own legion as well, which I knew that I had to shake off those thoughts as well, as I knew that I would never be the leader of a human army legion, as I knew that no one would listen to an orc such as me, and I was fairly certain that I would not be all that good of a leader at the exact same time too, as I sighed a bit to my self, all at the exact same time too, as I then all of the sudden shook my head a bit, which seemed to be the opposite of just what it was that every one was doing in the legion right now, as I saw that every one around me was nodding their heads for some odd and strange reason or another.
I tilted my head at all of them, not all too sure as to just what it was that they were doing, as I wondered if they were mocking me for some odd reason or another, which I immediately threw away that theory, just based off of the fact that I could tell that no one was paying me any sort of attention at this very moment in time. I breathed in just a bit to my self, all at the exact same time too, as I then all of the sudden got my focus on the fact that I knew that I had to think more on the fact that Tanner had just spoken to every one, and it was clear that was exactly what it was that he had been expecting every one to do, all at the exact same time as well, as I then all of the sudden began to remember just what it was that he had said to all of them, and I remembered the tone of voice that he had at the exact same time as well, as it was clear that he was not all too happy with all of my comrades that were in the army right at this very moment in time none the less, too.
I gulped a bit to my self, as I did my best to get my focus off of all of those thoughts all of the sudden, though I did not shake my head this time how ever, as I knew that it would be quite a bit of a stupid decision for me to make, as I then began to breath in quite a bit to my self instead all of the sudden, as I got my focus on some thing that was different from all of that, which was the fact that I knew that I had all of the sudden seen Tanner start to walk past the legion all at the exact same time as well, which did in fact confuse me a bit, all at the exact same time as well, as I did not have a single clue as to just what it was that was even going on right at this very moment in time, in the very first place any ways, as I felt like I was too lost in my head right now, which I kne about as never a good thing, as it usually meant that I came to a lot of assumptions, and I also knew that I was a very stupid person as well, so it meant that the assumptions that I would come to, were destined to be a lot of very stupid assumptions, all at the exact same time as well, as I then all of the sudden began to breath in quite a bit heavily to my self all of the sudden, all at the exact same time too.
I kept my eyes on Tanner, through and through, as I watched him walk past every one, as I noticed that I was not the only one that was staring at him, right at this very moment in time, in the very first place any ways, none the less. I could tell that every one was just as lost as I was, which I was kind of glad for, as I did not want to look like I was the idiot in this situation, as I knew that I always looked like the idiot in just about every situation that I got my self in to in the very first place any ways, as I sighed just a bit to my self, and I then all of the sudden began to notice, all at the exact same time as well, the fact that I knew that the other legions had begun to leave us, all at the exact same time as well, as I was a little bit lost as to just what it was that was even going on right at this very moment in time, in the very first place any ways, as I did not have a clue as to just what it was that it could be, which I once again felt like quite a bit of an idiot for, but I was glad that no one else had a clue as to just what it was that was going on right now, so it did not make me feel quite as stupid.
Just as soon as I had started to think on just what it was that could even be going on right now, I then all of the sudden saw some movement all the way from up at the front of the legion, as I then realized right away, that it was simply just Tanner, and he was trying to get the eyes of every one on him right now, as it was clear that he wanted every ones attention on him once again, as I then all of the sudden saw him nod to every one. I was a little bit lost at first, as to just what it was that he had even meant by that, but as I then all of the sudden began to see him turn around, and start to walk up the large hill that we had gone down in the very first place any ways, I then all of the sudden began to realize as to just what it was that was going on, as I saw that he was following the exact same thing that the other legions were doing right at this very moment in time never the less, which started to make sense to me, as it was clear that he wanted us to follow him all the way back to the camp that we had spent the last few days at never the less.
I blinked my eyes a few times, as I saw that a bunch of people were starting to walk past me, all at the exact same time as well, which did in fact have me quite a bit confused, all at the exact same time as well, as I started to begin to realize, all at the exact same time as well, as to just what it was that was even going on in the very first place any ways, when I saw a bunch of people walk past me. I then all of the sudden nodded to my self, as I was about to follow them at the exact same time too, until I then all of the sudden began to notice that my friend, Ashton, all at the exact same time as well, all of the sudden stepped in front of me, which did in fact confuse me a great deal never the less, as I did not have a single clue as to just what it was that my friend could be doing right at this very moment in time either, as I just stared at him with quite a bit of a blank look on my face. That was all that I could really feel right now though, as every thing just seemed to feel quite a bit blank, and it all just felt quite a bit empty to me too.
Ashton stood in front of me for just a little bit longer how ever, as it was clear that he was trying to block the way to the fact that I was trying to follow the rest of the legion up the hill, which confused me a great deal, as well as the fact that it kind of upset me a bit, and it annoyed me, as I just wanted to go up there with every one, and I just wanted to get this day over with. I was quite a bit worn out as it was, as it had been quite a trek to get to this place in the very first place any ways, as it wore me out in the physical aspect, but what really wore me out, if I was going to be for real with my self, was the fact as to all that had happened to me today, in the mental aspect, as to the fact that I had met an orc that had claimed to be my mother for one thing, but also the fact that she had claimed me to be the son of the orc king, which I felt like was not all too hard for me to believe, all at the exact same time as well.
All that she had told me about him, and the fact that she had taken me away from him, due to the fact that he was going to kill me, due to the fact that he did not want any one to ever challenge his throne, than I had to take a good guess, based off of the fact that all of this had to be true. I also did in fact believe, all at the exact same time as well, that my father did not have a clue about any of it, and I believed the story that she had said, that he had taken me in, because he felt a lot of guilt that he had killed the father of me, which was not actually my real father either, as I had come to find out. It was all quite a bit confusing to me, and it had me quite a bit lost, all at the exact same time as well, which I had to guess was the fact as to why it was that Ashton had stopped me from following the rest of the legion, in the very first place any ways, as it was clear that he too was confused, and he wanted some sort of answers from me, all at the exact same time as well, as he had managed to catch the tail end of what it was that she had said to me.
If I was going to be for real with my self, I really did not have a clue to any of it, nor did I have any sort of answers to any sort of questions that he was going to ask me, all at the exact same time as well, as I had quite a bit of a blank look on my face, never the less, which I hoped that he would know that it was clear that I did not have answers for him. He either did not seem to notice, or he just did not seem to care all too much at all how ever, which I did not feel all too great about, if I was going to be for real with my self, as I then all of the sudden got my focus on some thing different than all of that, all at the exact same time as well, as I had noticed that the entire legion had all of the sudden passed us, all at the exact same time as well. It was clear that he wanted answers right now, and he was willing to risk us getting in trouble for it at the exact same time as well. I breathed in quite a bit to my self, all at the exact same time too, as I really did not want to get in trouble right now, as I then breathed in quite a bit to my self, and I then began to speak up to him, all at the exact same time as well.
"Look... I am just as lost as you are right now... I just need some time to think on this okay? I don't know what to believe any more..." I said to him, as I stared at him with quite a bit of a blank look on my own face, all at the exact same time too, that way he knew that I was being for real with just what it was that I had even said to him in the very first place any ways. I gulped a bit to my self, all at the exact same time as well, as I then all of the sudden dipped my head down low to the ground, all at the exact same time as well, as I then all of the sudden began to start to think on just what it was that the female orc had said to me, as it was the one that had claimed to be my mother, all at the exact same time as well, which I knew confused Ashton a great deal as well, as I knew that my father had told him the same story that he had told me, which was the fact that he had killed my mother, due to the fact that the legion leader was watching him, and he did not have much of any other choice.
I gulped a bit to my self, as I was not all too sure as to just what it was that I should believe right now, as I was quite a bit lost on all of it. The story that she had told me, did in fact make sense, and the fact that my father had not killed her at all, as that had been one of the first questions that I had asked her, as Ashton had not been there to hear the answer to that sadly, as I felt like that was what it was that he was going to question me on, as he knew that the orc was claiming to be my mother, all at the exact same time too. I also knew at the same time as well, that Ashton had told her that we should meet up at this same place in a few days, all at the exact same time as well, which did in fact confuse me quite a bit. It was clear that he had a lot of questions that he wanted to ask her, and it was also clear that he had a lot of questions that he felt like he had wanted to ask me, all at the exact same time as well, which I felt like the main one would be, 'due you actually believe what she said?'
A part of me felt like she was joking about it, and that she was bluffing about it, all at the exact same time as well, but at the exact same time as well, I also had felt the same type of energy that she had said she had for me, when we had been close together, and also the fact that there was just some random she orc that had gone up to me, not knowing that there would be an orc in a human legion all at the exact same time too, and also the fact that her story lined up with the exact same story that my father had told me about all of it when I was younger. I was just quite a bit lost, as to the fact that my father had purposely not killed her, than why would he tell me that he had killed her? Perhaps he did not want me to go out of my way in search for my mother, all at the exact same time as well. As I kind of felt like that had to be the obvious answer, all at the exact same time as well, as he had noticed that I always had a lot of questions about my mother, all at the exact same time as well.
I knew that if I ran out on my own, in search for my mother, than I would surely be destined to die, if I was to go out and trod on human soil, I knew that they would kill me right away, as I knew that only the people in the city really knew who it was that I was. The odds that I would have ever found my mother, were highly unlikely, all at the exact same time as well, as I wanted to get upset at my father for it, but at the exact same time too, I also knew that he had said it to protect me. I loved my father as well, and I knew that he never wanted to hurt me, even if he was not my actual father, I knew that he did in fact treat me as if I was in fact his actual son, which I was always grateful for, and I knew that I always had in fact loved my father, all at the exact same time too, as I shook off all of those thoughts, all at the exact same time as well, as I knew that there was no such sort of reason to get upset at my father at all right now.
I breathed in quite a bit to my self still, as I stared down at the ground for just a little while longer, not all too sure about any of this, as I was not all too sure as to just what it was that was real, and just what it was that was fake any more. It felt like my mind was distorted. I knew that the story that she had told me had in fact made sense, but at the exact same time as well, I did not want the story to be true, as she had tried to convince me that I needed to go to the orc king, and I had needed to challenge him, all at the exact same time as well, to try to go and take the throne. I felt like that was impossible though, as I knew that there was no such sort of way that I could ever beat him, as I was sure that the orc had been a strong man for quite some time, and I was also sure that he knew a lot more about the fact as to how it was that you should fight, a bit more than I did. Plus, whilst I was in the army, I knew that I was being trained to fight like a human, and not an orc, all at the exact same time as well, none the less.
I sighed a bit to my self, as I was not all too sure as to just exactly what it was that I should do, as I really felt like I did not have any sort of answers to any sort of questions that were about to be thrown my way from Ashton right at this very moment in time. I went ahead and lifted my head up any ways, as I felt like now I needed to be strong, as I knew that I was physically strong, but I knew that it was time that I needed to be mentally strong right now, as I then all of the sudden stared at Ashton right in to his eyes, as for some reason or another, I saw quite a bit of an excited look on his face right now, which did in fact confuse me a great bit, as to just what it was that he might be excited about in the very first place any ways. I shook off all of those thoughts either way how ever, as I gulped just a bit to my self, all at the exact same time too, as I was not all too sure as to just what else it was that I should be doing. As I stared at Ashton for just a little bit longer, all at the exact same time as well, he finally did in fact begin to speak to me, none the less.
I looked at him with quite a bit of a blank look on my face, all at the exact same time as well, as I was not all too sure as to just what it was that I should do, nor was I all too sure as to just what it was that was even going on right now in the very first place any ways, if I was going to be serious with my self, never the less. I stared at Ashton right in to his eyes, as I then all of the sudden saw him nod to me. I blinked my eyes a few times, as for some reason I was not all too sure as to just what it was that I should do right now, even though the answer to that was pretty obvious to me. I just stared at my friend for quite a bit of some time, with quite a bit of a blank look on my face, until I then did in fact finally nod back to him, to let him know that I was in fact paying attention to just what it was that he even had to say to me in the very first place any ways, never the less. I could tell that it did in fact make him feel quite a bit better, none the less, as he then all of the sudden began to start to speak up to me once again, and I did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what it was that he even had to say to me in the very first place any ways, never the less.
"So... You really are the son of the orc king? I knew that there was some thing special about you! I knew there was no other reason that your father would have brought an orc to his city, unless it was some one, or some thing that was important..." He said to me, as I could tell that he was quite a bit excited about this, as it was clear that he was not all too sure as to just what it was that he should do right now. I was not all too sure as to just what it was that I should be doing my self, if I was going to be for real with my self, but much unlike him, I was not at all excited about any of this how ever. I once again did my best to try not to get too upset at my father, all at the exact same time as well, as it was clear that he did not have a clue as to just what it was that he was doing, as he simply only took me in, due to the fact that he felt a bit guilty that he had just killed an orc family that he simply been trying to protect their child, all at the exact same time as well, as I felt quite a bit sick about all of it.
Ashton I was sure thought that my father had brought me in, due to the fact that he thought that my father had know that I was the son of the orc king, but that was just not the case at all how ever, as I knew that she had told me that it was not the case at all, and she had told me that he simply only took me, due to the fact that he felt quite a bit guilty as to the fact that he had just killed my 'actual father' so to say, which it did in fact turn out that he was in fact dead, even though he was not my actual father at all, but my actual mother, who was in fact my actual mother, was not dead at all. I just still was not all too sure about all of it, as I felt like I was stupid as it was, and my brain, and my mind did not work properly as it was already, but this was testing me on a whole new level, and it was really was starting to hurt my head quite a bit, all at the exact same time as well, as I felt quite a bit scared, as well as the fact that I felt quite a bit sick at the exact same time as well, as it kind of felt like my entire life was all just one big lie to me.
There was no one that I could really blame for it either, as I knew that I could not blame my human father, as I was sure that he was thinking a whole lot of different things when he had brought me in, one of those obviously the fact that he felt a bit guilty for the fact that he had killed my actual family, but the other one was some thing that my mother did not know about at all, which was the fact that I knew that he had lost a son that he had at birth, and he had also lost his wife, all at the exact same time too, all on the same day, which I knew for a fact would have torn my father in half. I knew that he had brought me in, a lot of that due to the fact that he had felt like he had needed a son to repair all of the damage that he had lost, as it was clear, and thankfully, as I was happy that he never really did judge me for the fact that I was in fact an orc, all at the exact same time as well, which did in fact make me want to smile, but at the exact same time too, I knew that now was not exactly the time for me to be smiling at all how ever.
I sighed just a bit to my self, all at the exact same time too, as I then all of the sudden began to dip my head down low to the ground, such as I had been doing earlier before all of this. Just as I was doing as such a thing how ever, I then all of the sudden saw a look of fear pop up on to the face of my friend Ashton, all at the exact same time as well, which stopped my from dipping my head down at the exact same time as well, as instead looked at Ashton, and I tilted my head at him all of the sudden, as I was not all too sure as to just what it was that was going on with him at all, right at this very moment in time, in the very first place any ways. I looked at Ashton, as I was thinking that he might have all of the sudden thought of some thing that might have scared him for some odd reason or another, as I expected him to be staring at me with a look of quite some fear on his face, but that did not seem to be the case at all how ever, which confused me a great deal never the less.
I then looked at Ashton, right in to his eyes, all at the exact same time too, as I saw that he was not looking at me at all in fact, which confused me even more, as I then all of the sudden turned my head around, to see as to just what it was that he was looking at in the very first place any ways, as I was a little bit worried that it had some thing to do with the orc village, all at the exact same time as well, as I shivered a bit, as I turned my head over to just what it was that he had his eyes on right now. What it was that I saw was very much of a surprise to me, all at the exact same time as well, as I saw that it was not at all the orc village that he was looking at right now. No... What it was that he was looking at, was different than all of it, as it was instead, a person, which scared me all at the exact same time as well, as based off of the look on the face of that person, it was clear that they had heard what it was that he had just said.
That person just so happened to be Callan, and based off of the smile that I saw on his face, all at the exact same time as well, it was clear that he had heard each and every single word that Ashton had said to me, all at the exact same time too, meaning that he now knew that I was the son of the orc king never the less. I felt quite a bit sick, as I was not all too sure as to just what it was that we should do. I wanted to say that Callan would not snitch on us, but at the exact same time as well, I also knew that I had to remember that he was in fact a part of the leader ship in our legion. I gulped, as I realized that we had made a big mistake, all at the exact same time as well, as I was now wishing that we had not stopped and let the entire legion past us. I stared down at the ground, as I then all of the sudden began to hear Callan begin to start to speak to the both of us, all at the exact same time too. I feared what it was that he was about to say to me, but I did in fact begin to listen as to just what it was that he even had to say in the very first place as well.
"Wow... So you too are the son of the king?"
