Chapter 23: Best Of Luck...

I shivered, as it was quite a bit cold as to just where it was that I was at right at this very moment in time, if I was not going to lie to my self, none the less, as I really did not like where it was at either way. This was for sure some thing that I was not used to, I could say for a certain fact. I would normally say that I was relieved to be sleeping beside my mother, for the first time in my life, except I really wasn't.
That was for a lot of different reasons, as one of those reasons was due to the fact that I was still a little bit scared that she might do some thing to me for one thing, but also there was the fact that I felt insanely uncomfortable with where it was that I was laying at right at this very moment in time. It seemed to almost be normal to my mother, but it for sure was not normal to me at all, I could say for a fact.
For one thing, I had slept on a very comfortable bed, and a very expensive bed, that my father had bought for me, for most of my life, but also the other thing was the fact that it felt a lot better than the fact that I was sleeping on the floor right now. I slept on that thing, and it was the most comfortable thing in the world, as even when I had a bit of a rough day, I could fall fast asleep on that bed, and I could get good sleep on it too.
I felt like I had fallen asleep on this spot that I was laying on the ground right at this very moment in time, more than once, but at the exact same time as well, I kind of felt like I could not be all too sure either, as it felt like I had just been laying here for ever. Even if I had fallen asleep a few times, I had not been asleep for very long. I felt bad for the fact that I had been complaining of sleeping on those cots in the tents, as they felt like heaven compared to where it was that I was trying to sleep on right now.
I let out quite a bit of a rough, as well as a bit of a heavy sigh to my self, all at once, as I then all of the sudden got my focus off of all of that, and I got my focus on some thing much different than it, which was the fact that I knew that even if this was a rough place that we were sleeping right now, it was only going to get worse from here on out, if I had to take my best guess too, as I gulped a bit of some spit down my throat, at the thought of that.
I breathed in a bit to my self as well, as I then began to start to roll around in my bed, all at once, and I got my mind on the fact that I knew that we needed to get some sleep right now, as rest less as I might feel like I was right now, I knew that I needed to be strong for tomorrow, as I knew that it was going to be another long walk, none the less, all at the exact same time too, as I then all of the sudden nodded a bit to my self, none the less.
I got my mind, and my focus on some thing a lot more relaxing to me, all at the exact same time too. It was the fact that I knew that I was with my mother right now, and if it was that she had wanted to kill me, than she would have done it already at this point, as I knew that I realistically should not be at all worried about any of that at this point, all at the exact same time as well, as I then all of the sudden nodded a bit to my self.
I blinked my eyes a few times, as I let out another soft sigh to my self, once again, as I then closed my eyes, such as I had done several times before, as I knew that I really needed to get as much sleep as I could, before it was too late for me, and before it was the morning, meaning that we were going to have to get up and go on with another long day, all at the exact same time too, never the less, as I got my mind on to some free and relaxing space, all at once.

It felt quite a bit warm, if I was not going to lie to my self, which was the opposite of how it was that I had felt when it was that I had been trying to get some sleep just last night, which did in fact have me quite a bit lost, as well as the fact that it had me a little bit scared if I was not going to lie to my self either, never the less. I knew that it had been very cold, and I also knew that I had been having strange dreams as of late, never the less.
I was scared that I was about to be in another one of those strange dreams that I had been having, and I prayed, and I hoped that it was not the case at all, none the less, though I did in fact have quite a bit of some fear already, that it was in fact the case, and that there was not really any thing that I could do to try to stop any that sadly enough, as I knew that I could not control what it was that went on in side of my sleep.
I felt like I should give up, all at the exact same time too, as I then all of the sudden breathed in quite a bit of a heavy sigh to my self, all at once, and I then all of the sudden opened my eyes, all at the exact same time as well, too see as to just what it was that was going on in this dream right at this very moment in time none the less, as I got my mind off of all of the thoughts that I had been having long before all of this, as well.
As I opened my eyes, I immediately saw that there was a bit of some movement going on around me, as I saw that some thing was going on in front of me, right in front of my very own eyes, all at the exact same time as well. I was a bit lost as to just what it was that was even going on right at this very moment in time, but as I saw the back ground scenery as to just where it was that I was at right now, I then all of the sudden began to start to realize as to where I was at.
I was in the place that it had seemed that I had fallen asleep at just last night, all at the exact same time as well, as normally that would relax me a little bit, and it would in fact calm me down quite a bit, all at the exact same time too, to know that I was in fact in the exact same place that I had fallen asleep in last night, luckily enough for me, but sadly that was not the case at all for me this time.
I saw that what it was that was moving around in front of me was a bit of a strange creature, and not only that, but the strange creature was heading right over towards me right now, as I then all of the sudden began to start to freak out, all at once, as my heart then all of the sudden began to start to pump a little bit extra fast, all at the exact same time as well, as I knew that the creature was heading right towards me.
My eyes were still a little bit blurry, so I was not all too sure as to just what it was that the creature was, nor was I all too sure as to just what it was that the creature was doing right at this very moment in time, in the very first place any ways, none the less, as I then all of the sudden reached my hand up, all at the exact same time too, as I then all of the sudden pushed the creature off of me, all at the exact same time as well, too.
The creature was quite a bit of a heavy creature, as well as the fact that it was also a warm creature, very much to my own surprise, as I was not all too sure as to just what it was that the creature could be in the very first place any ways, none the less, as I breathed in quite a bit to my self, all at the exact same time too, as I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I possibly could right now, as I then all of the sudden began to start the speak up to the creature, all at the exact same time as well.
"Get off of me foul being!" I yelled out loud to the creature, all at the exact same time too, as I saw that the creature then all of the sudden seemed to listen to me, very much to my own surprise, all at the exact same time too, as it did not seem like it was one of those creatures that you might see in your night mares at all, all at the exact same time as well, which seemed to surprise me even more, as I breathed in quite a bit to my self, all at the exact same time too, and I did my best to try to relax my self.
It was dead silence in the room for just a few moments, as it was clear that the creature did not want to get any closer, nor did the creature want to get any further away from me than it had been before now, as I could say for a fact, that it was a bit of a strange creature for sure, as I then all of the sudden began to start to breath in quite a bit to my self, as I saw through my blurry eyes, since it was not loving any further away from me, than I was going to move away from it.
As I then all of the sudden began to move back from the creature, all at the exact same time too, I then all of the sudden hit my head on some thing quite a bit hard, none the less, as I then yelled out in quite a bit of some pain, all at the exact same time as well, as I then all of the sudden began to remember as to just where it was that I had fallen asleep at just last night, all at the exact same time as well, never the less, as I then began to remember that I had fallen asleep right beside a strong wall, too.
I felt like a bit of an idiot, and even worse than that, the creature had clearly seen what it was that I had done, all at the exact same time too, as the creature seemed to start to laugh at me, all at the exact same time too, as I wanted to get mad at the creature, as to the fact that it was laughing at me over some thing that it had done its self, as it did in fact hurt my head quite a bit, but I did not do as such a thing how ever, never the less.
The creature had quite a bit of a beautiful, as well as a bit of a mesmerizing laugh, if I was not going to lie to my self, as it kind of made me feel a little bit dizzy, even though I still could not see any thing just yet, due to the fact that I still had blurry eyes right now. I was still a bit scared of the creature, due to the fact that it seemed like it was trying to kill me, when ever it was that I had first woken up, but at the exact same time as well, just based off of the beautiful laugh, I felt like I should not be scared.
Though, that could be a trap, as I knew that the girl that I had fallen in love with, which was Addison of course, she too had quite a bit of a beautiful laugh, all at the exact same time too, as I knew that it was a laugh that had made me fall in love with her, when in the end, I had not realized that it had been a trap, and it had led me down the road, as to where it was that led me to where it was that I was at right now, which was of course the fact that I was with my mother right now.
That was the case though, right? I was not all too sure, as I knew that I had seen a bit of a strange creature sneak up on me with the intent to try to kill me, all at the exact same time too, so for all that I knew, the creature might have already killed my mother, and it could be coming for me next. I gulped a bit down my throat, as I did my best to try not to think on that for too much, as I did my best to relax my self, and try to clear out all of my thoughts, all at the exact same time too, though it was quite a bit hard, if I was not going to lie to my self.
I blinked my eyes a few times, as I then all of the sudden nodded a bit to my self, all at once, and I got my mind on some thing altogether completely different than all of that, which just so happened to be the fact that my eyes were starting to regain a little bit of some sort of control over it self, as my eyes were no longer as blurry as they had once been, and I was not starting to see what it was that was in front of me, though my eyes were still seeing stars, due to the fact that I had hit the wall so hard, not all too much longer ago.
What it was, just so happened to be my mother, as I saw that the creature was not a scary creature at all, nor was it a creature at all, none the less, well of course, unless you wanted to be like some of the humans that lived in my city that I had once lived in, as I knew that they more than likely would in fact call orcs creatures, if they had not already done so before. They usually did not like to bring orcs up around me, at all.
I breathed in just a bit to my self, all at once, as I got my mind off of all of those thoughts, all at the exact same time as well, as I then all of the sudden began to start to notice that my mother was nodding to me, all at the exact same time as well, as it was clear to me that she was letting me know that she was about to start to speak to me, all at the exact same time too, as I then got my mind, and I got my focus off of all of those thoughts, all at once.
I then got my focus on some thoughts that were altogether different than all of that, which was the fact that it was clear that my mother was letting me know that she was about to speak to me, and she wanted to make sure that I was in fact paying attention as to just what it was that she even had to say to me, all at the exact same time as well, none the less. I had just woken up, so it was still a bit hard for me to get my focus on any thing, but once I then realized as to just what it was that was even going on right at this very moment in time, I did in fact nod back to her.
My mother had her eyes squinted at me, as it seemed like the laughing, and the humor that she had on her face not all too long ago, had seemed to go away, all at the exact same time too, as I then all of the sudden got my mind, and I got my focus off of all of those thoughts, as I then all of the sudden began to start to think on just what it was that was going on right at this very moment in time, which was the fact that she was now starting to speak to me, now that she had figured that she had my attention on her.
I really did not seem to have my attention on her at all, if I was not going to lie to my self, but now that she was beginning to speak to me, I felt like I had no other choice but to pay attention to her, as I then all of the sudden began to start to listen as to just what it was that she even had to say to me in the very first place any ways, none the less.
"Zin... Calm down! It's just your mother that's trying to wake you up... I want you to know that we've got a long day ahead of us, if we want to get to where it is that we need to go, so I needed you to wake up early..." She said to me, as she now had a bit of a blank look on her face all of the sudden, as it seemed like the amused look that she had on her face before all of this, had now all of the sudden gone away, all at the exact same time too.
I blinked my eyes a few times, as I then all of the sudden breathed in quite a bit to my self instead, as I then nodded to my self all at once, as I began to start to realize as to just what it was that was even going on right now, as I then all of the sudden began to remember as to just what it was that she had even said to me last night, in the very first place any ways none the less. I felt quite a bit sick right now, as that felt like it was for a lot of different reasons.
One of those reasons was due to the fact that I felt like I might have attacked and potentially hurt my mother, all at the exact same time too, due to the fact that I had just woken up, and I had not been thinking at all. It had felt that way a lot for me how ever, due to the fact that I had in fact joined the army, as it kind of felt like it turned my in to a little bit of a different person, as it felt like I was always checking every corner, just to make sure nothing was to happen to me, none the less.
I felt quite a bit uncomfortable, if I was not going to lie, with the fact that I had lived with all of those humans. I was used to only living with my father, but not only that, I also knew that we did not sleep in the same room. It felt like I was always scared that I was going to wake up, one of those nights, and just so happen to not be living any more, all ag the exact same time too, as I let out quite a bit of soft sigh to my self.
If I was not going to lie to my self, I felt like that was a lot of the reason that I had followed my mother as to where it was that we were going to be going over to, all at the exact same time too, as I knew that it was going to be a dangerous mission, but so long as things went as planned for us, than it felt like it all was going to end up being okay for us, all at the exact same time too, never the less.
I breathed in quite a bit to my self, all at once, as I did my best to try to get my focus off of all of that how ever, as I knew that it did in fact make me feel a little bit sick that I had left my best friend, Ashton behind, when he had joined the army, a lot due to the fact that he had expected to be with me. But the first chance that I had out of that, I was going to take it no matter what, if I was not going to lie to my self, all at the exact same time as well.
I gulped a bit to my self, all at once, as I did my best to try to keep my self calm, as I got my eyes, and I got my focus on all that was going on right at this very moment in time, in the very first place any ways, in this room right now, as I then all of the sudden got my eyes on some more movement from the corner of my eyes, all at once, as luckily enough, none the less, my eyes were not nearly as blurry as they had been the last time that I had been trying to look, and had been trying to pay attention as to all that was going on around me in the very first place any ways.
The movement that I saw, was my mother's friend, Lorgan, as I had nearly forgot as to just where it was that I was at right now, and the fact that I had slept on his floor last night, all at the exact same time too. The floor was quite a bit uncomfortable, if I was not going to lie to my self as well, as I let out quite a bit of a rough sigh to my self, and I did my best to get my focus off of all of those thoughts all at once.
I then just stared at Lorgan right in to his eyes, as I saw that for some odd reason or another, he had a bit of a worried look on his face right now, which confused me a bit, as well as the fact that it made me feel suspicious of him, all at the exact same time too, as I knew that I really probably should not be feeling suspicious about him at all right now, due to the fact that I knew that he had given us a place to sleep at last night, even if it might be a bit of an uncomfortable place to sleep, it was still kind and generous for him to do.
I looked at Lorgan right in to his eyes, as I then all of the sudden saw Lorgan nod to me, and also to my mother, all at the exact same time as well, as I then all of the sudden noticed that the both of us turned our heads over to him all at once, as not all too much longer after all of that, all at the exact same time as well, the both of us did in fact nod back to him, to let him know that we were paying attention to him, right at this very moment in time, too.
Lorgan seemed to blink his eyes a few times, as if he had all of the sudden seemed to have forgotten what it was that he had to say, which seemed to be believable to me, as I knew that stuff like that happened to me all of the time. But as he seemed to regain a little bit of some sort control over my self, I then all of the sudden began to start to hear him speak up finally, as I did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what it was that he even had to say to me in the very first place any ways.
"Ive got some stew packed up for the both of you on this journey... I wish the both of you the best of luck..."
