The usher guides us into the theatre, and we walk to one of the last rows. Everyone sits down and waits for the movie to start. Thomas is at the end of the row, followed by Brenda, Newt, and I. Minho is beside me, with Allie to his right. The theatre is close to empty, there are a few groups of teens, and that's about it. I wouldn't expect the theatre to be full, considering that it is the middle of the day. We start to chat about random thoughts that come to mind as we wait for the opening credits to roll in. As the movie begins and the lights start to dim, we all fall silent.
The movie is almost finished when Allie gets up to go to the washroom, she's gone for roughly 15 minutes when I see Minho get up as well. The credits start to roll, and the lights in the theatre come back on, Minho and Allie are still not back from the washroom as everyone stands up and starts to walk out of the theatre. The rest of us walk out as well and wait by the exit of the washrooms for Allie and Minho.
Another 15 minutes pass when we see Minho and Allie walk out of the women's bathroom together with a giddy smiles plastered on both of their faces. Their expressions quickly change when they see all of the group eyeing them up and down. I knew something was going on between those two when Allie had called Minho 'Min,' so this just proves my point. Minho is the first one to speak up.
"It's really not what it looks like. We were just-" Minho says before he is cut off by Thomas.
"You were just hooking up in the bathroom?" Thomas says with a judging tone.
"Okay, so maybe it is what it looks like, but we just didn't want to tell you guys. We didn't know how you guys would take it." Allie says defensively.
"What do you mean? All of us are happy you two are happy. That's all that matters." Newt says.
"Well, most of us," Brenda says, looking Allie up and down with a deadly stare.
"We should've told you guys sooner. I'm sorry." Minho says.
"So, how long have you two been together?" Thomas asks.
"About three weeks," Allie says.
"Damn, Minho, three weeks, and you didn't tell me," Thomas says, pretending to be hurt.
"Oh shut up, you shank," Minho replies.
