22 - Only if

I was sleeping when someone poured water on my face. I quickly opened my eyes.

"Aish! What the heck!", I started breathing heavily.

"Oh! Oh! Thank god! You are alive", she sighed.

"What?", I scoffed.

"You didn't even make a slightest movement since 1 hour. I almost thought you were no more", she tsked.

"Huh!", I looked away and shook my head.

"Ahjussi! About that pearl. Should we start finding it now?", she asked.

"Oh yeah! I was about to bring that up. About that pearl. We should start looking over it. Can you feel it's presence or something like that?", I asked.

"Yes if it's under 10km radius I can feel it", she said.

I nodded,"We should start looking for it. I will do whatever it takes to send you back safely even if we have to wander around whole South Korea to search it, I will not step back."

I looked at her and she was already staring at me.

"What?", I raised my brow.

"Aren't you too eager to send me back", she glared at me deadly.

"Why? Don't you want to go back?", I asked.

"I want to but more than me you are desperate to send me back", she said.

"Ohhhhh! Were you expecting me to sit on my knees and request you to not leave", I teased her.

"Forget it!", she rolled her eyes.

"Come on. You were, weren't you?", I laughed out hard.

Out of a sudden I fell down, the sofa disappeared.

"Ahhh!!!", I screamed. "Ommo! Is this your doing?", I rubbed my back.

She didn't respond.

"Ouch! It hurts! Darn it!"

"Where is my sofa? Do you wanna die. Do you know how expensive it was?", I stood up.

"Oops! I didn't know", she crossed her arms.

"You are dead meat today", I strolled towards her.

She disappeared in thin air. I looked around and she was standing behind me.

"You can't escape", I tried to catch her again.

After a few unsuccessful attempts of catching her, I breathed in and out. "Hey! Atleast play fair!"

"I am playing fair", she shrugged her shoulders.

"No you are not. Rule number 1 - Don't use your powers", I said.

"Are there any more rules?", she asked.

"Rule number 2 - Whoever catches the person will be granted a wish"

This time she didn't use her powers and ran out of the room.

I ran after her and the whole house echoed with her giggles.

"You can't catch me", she sticked her tongue out.

"Ohh! Is that Jimin and Jungkook?", I tried to distract her a little and she fell for it.

"Where?", she turned her back to me and looked around. I quickly grabbed her from behind

"Caught you!", I panted.

My mouth was so close to her neck that I could smell the scent of hers. My body was so close to her that I could hardly breathe. I don't know how was she feeling but I was completely paused like a statue. I din't want to move away. Only if this could be forever. Only if she was a human. Only if we didn't have to part ways sooner. Only if every day was like this. Only if my arms were always around her. Only if every night was spent in the warmth of our bodies curled up against each other. Only if my eyes were always fixed on hers. Only if her lips were always in sync with mine. Only if she was always mine. Only if!
