The prince didn't want to marry Do-Hwa. His heart beated for Ha-Neul. After fighting with himself for a long time, at night, he went to the king's room.

"My greetings to his majesty", he bowed his head. "I don't want to marry princess Do-Hwa."

"Are you in your senses?", the king asked.

"I know what I am doing. I have someone in my heart, I can't betray her."

"Prince Eun. It doesn't matter what you want. This marriage is to conquer control over her father's land and you know how important it is for me. So I give you a chance to take back your words and leave."

The prince had so much to say but he knew in the end things will happen according to the king. He was scared what if the king tries to harm the girl he loves so he zipped his mouth and left.

Many thoughts raced in his mind. He thought it would be heart breaking for Ha-Neul to see him getting married without telling her so he decided to tell her early in the morning.

The next morning, he rushed in the grand kitchen. As he expected, she was working there. He grabbed her wrist and dragged her outside the kitchen.

"What are you doing?", she tried to let go of his hold.

Once they reached outside he took a deep breath and said,"I..I am sorry. I am marrying today."

Though Ha-Neul knew it but still it hurt.

"Go on. Marry her", she said looking anywhere else but him.

She wanted him to marry the princess because she knew she had no future with him. They both belonged to different worlds. A human marrying an alien can only be possible in one's fantasy. She didn't want him to give up on this marriage because of her. She din't had many days left to live. She had to return to her planet as soon as possible. But the pearl, she had lost, was the only way to return there.

"Ha-Neul! Let's elope together. We will live in a small house together. We will have kids. We will be happy."

"No! I don't want to marry you", she said.

"Don't you like me?", he asked.

"I like Prince Jung", she lied. Her heart ached too much to even face Eun.

The prince's face lost all the colors. He laughed,"You like him?"

"Yes. I always liked him. You were just a medium to reach him and see I succeeded. I became a court lady here because he thought you like me but the reality was I liked him. It was so tiring to spend time with you in order to make him jealous. That day you asked what happened in the library. Didn't you see from your own eye? Hm? We were about to kiss but you came in between and you always were a third wheel. I had to look at you while serving tea to grab Jung's attention. Aish! That was so tiresome", she cursed under her breath.

He kept on laughing. The tears he was trying to control behind that laugh won't come out. Ha-Neul didn't understand what was wrong with the prince.

"It was a mistake to love you", the words that left the prince's mouth broke Ha-Neul's heart into two.

Even though it made her heart wrench, she tried to shake it away. She walked off from there. Although she was ill, her heart pained even more because of the prince's words.

The prince got married to princess Do-Hwa in the absence of Ha-Neul. She couldn't muster up courage to see her man marrying another woman so she killed some time roaming in the palace's garden.

All the memories spent with the prince came one by another in her mind. She never knew she would love the prince so much. The stone, she had been trying to find for weeks, somehow felt near her but she still couldn't find it.
