28 - Trusfrated

"Didn't you fill petrol before coming?", she asked.

"I thought there was enough petrol."

She left a very heavy sigh and moved out of the car.

"What can we do now?", she stood against the bonnet of the car.

"Let's walk forward. There must be some place to stay", I said.

"What if there isn't? I think we should go back to that restaurant instead."

No! Never in my life I would go there. They took away all my cash and my card is almost empty.

"No! Let's walk together until we find a place."

"I would prefer going to the restaurant", she started walking in the opposite direction.

"Hey! Why don't you listen to me? Huh? Go there if you want to. I won't go with you."

And like that we both started walking in the opposite directions.

After a few minutes, I heard some footsteps from behind. I smiled to myself. I know she is following me.

"Well!", I turned around but instead of Ha-Neul, actually a leaf was crawling on the road due to wind.

What the fuck!

I tried to find her but it seemed like she already has walked far away from me.

I runned in the restaurant's direction. I can't let her away from my eye even for a second. Why did I act stubborn. Shit!

When I reached the restaurant, she was sitting on the stairs of entry. The place was closed.

"I knew you would come", she smiled.

I scoffed,"Were you testing me or something?"

She didn't answer but smiled.

"The restaurant is closed", I said. "That's why I told you to listen to me. Now I have to cover all that distance again."

"Woah! Talking as if I haven't walked till here", she looked down on me.

"Let's go now", I said.

"What about the car?", she asked.

"We are more important than the car", I said.

I started walking down the road.

"Hey! Wait for me!"

Time kept on flying. My knees gave out. I couldn't walk more far neither could she.

"How long have we have to walk?", she panted.

"Hey! Wait", I suddenly remembered something. "You can use your magic, right?"

"Do you think I have enough energy to use it?", she asked.

"Oops. Right", I started walking again.

"Hey! Wait!", I again remembered something. "I have extra petrol in the back of my car."

She gave a death glare to me and after a second started beating me.

"Ah! It hurts."

"You remembered it too quickly, didn't you?"

After walking back to the distance we came from, the sun had already set down. It was night time and we finally came back to the car.

I searched for the extra petroleum bottle in the trunk of the car but couldn't find it.

"I think I was mistaken."

"Don't tell me it's not there", Ha-Neul started revolving her fist as if she would beat the hell out of me.
