10 - Adam's apple

YOON-SEOK'S POV

It was so inconvenient to sleep on the sofa. It was as if I could fall on the floor anytime. I looked at the ceiling and sighed.

"My offer still stands", she said.

There is no other option. Should I just sleep along with her. It's true. We have slept before. Nothing is going to happen anyway.

With a pillow in my hand, I rose from the sofa. She shifted to the other side and left space for me. Without saying a word, I just lied down next to her, not facing her.

I turned to the left side and she was looking at me. We both were sleeping on our arms as a support.

Will 'hypnotized' be the right term to use right now? Because the intensity in her gaze was beyond words.

"Can I hold your hand?", she said in a low voice.

I held her hand myself and continued looking at her.

While her eyes were closed taking the data, I pushed the strands of her hair behind her ear.

She opened her eyes and looked at me innocently. I brought my face closer to hers.

In no time, I captured her lips in my mouth. I don't know why I did this. It felt too irresistible.

Undoubtedly her lips were as juicy as they looked. I kept on kissing her. But when she took the initiative to kiss me I was startled. How can she be the perfect kisser?

Our lips kept on moving in sync with each other. Last time it just lasted for a few seconds but this time it feels endless.

During kissing her my eyes landed on a scar on her neck. Suddenly my heart started aching. It felt like someone has put a loads of heavy stuff on it. Some unrecognizable memories projected in my vision.

I immediately parted my lips away and started panting.

"Are you alright", she came closer but I moved away from her.

"It's...it's I don't know. I will just take a walk around. You go to sleep", I quickly stood on my feet and left the room.

What happened to me out of a sudden. What were those scenarios that came in my mind out of nowhere.

I breathed in and out and tried to be relaxed.

Stop overthinking Yoon-Seok and think about what you just did.

I was wrong when I said 'nothing is going to happen anyway.'

It will be so awkward between us. Why did I even do that. Fuck! Didn't she become my girlfriend for an act? How am I gonna face her now. Why did you have to make things cumbersome? Shit!

After taking a walk,I went back in the room but she was already asleep.

When I woke up she was sleeping peacefully next to me. I quietly rose from the bed and walked off.

Last night was so unforgettable. It would have been great if I wouldn't have seen that scar and lost my mind.

"Yoon-Seok you're awake?", mom said.

"Yeah mom. Good morning", I smiled.

"Good morning!", she ruffled my hair.

"He used to sleep till 12 pm. Now look at him waking up so early. Atleast joining army did some wonders to my son", dad laughed reading the newspaper.
