The bluenette had already made breakfast and clean up the house earlier that morning before getting ready to get back her globe.

''Hey, has anyone seen Marinette, she had an appointment today and she is nowhere to be found'' Christain asked worriedly. ''I don't know, she doesn't talk to me'' Adrien replied. ''It's you that doesn't talk to her, now your girlfriend is missing so go find her''
''Well she did ask Adrien to go with her somewhere this morning but he said he was busy so she probably went on her own'' Caleb added. ''Seriously, you aren't even doing anything, Max find Marinette, check her location, text messages something''
''Well her last messages were around 11:30 last night and it was too.... someone from the city that's where it pinged'' ''Which part of the city'' Adrien asked knowing it was not good. ''This is not good'' Max mumbled. ''Who is it Max for fu- oh'' Christian stopped.
''I'm on it'' Chat said before he quickly got ready and left. As much as he hated Marinette for keeping that baby, he still promised to keep her away from trouble, especially if it's Nathaniel.
With Mari...
The blue entered the warehouse and there was a man standing there. ''Uhm Hi'' she stopped halfway. ''Here you go'' He handed her the globe and went back to where he was before. ''That's it'' she asked. ''Yup, an old friend of yours Nathaniel sends his love kay princess. now, who's kid is that Chat'' he asked raising a brow. ''Maybe'' she replied. ''That's a yes, so if baby mama is here and baby, we are just waiting for one more then'' he smirked and Mari realized this was just to lure Adrien here.
''He doesn't even care about us so be my guest, past months have been hell already'' she sighed. ''I can say otherwise he is already on the compound'' he smirked and Mari gulped. ''well we don't need you anymore then'' he raised up a gun and shot in her direction. In a swift motion, she was being shielded by black leather. she looked up and his green illuminating eyes were staring at her as he panted.
''You okay'' he asked letting go. she nodded and turned him around, but there were no gunshot wounds or blood. ''Some of the suits are bulletproof, now'' He faced that man and got out his baton.
More shots were fired until Chat ran up to him and launched him unto the wall before sending his metal pole into his chest. ''He got my pole dirty'' Chat said pulling it back out swinging it around the blood rolled off and he stuck it back to his side. ''A-Adrien'' Marinette said faintly. ''Yea'' he turned to her and his face went pale.
She held up her hand and her blood color changed her outfit. He ran to her and held her under her stomach where she got shot. ''Mari you are gonna be okay alright, don't you dare close does eyes Marinette I swear to god, Mari please don't, Fuck, he quickly called an ambulance and they came in less than two minutes.
''Please don't die, Mari, I need you, I love you'' he whispered as she lost consciousness.
The next day...
''Alya'' Marinette whispered as she sat up on the bed. ''No, lie down dear, you git shot okay, just take it slow'' Mari laid back down. Adrien came in with Christian and Paxton, Devante also. ''What about the baby, is everything good, please tell me it's okay'' she hurried worriedly. ''you almost died and that is the first thing on your mind'' Adrien scoffed and walked out.
''Is my baby okay Alya'' Marinette asked. ''Yes Marinette, everything is fine, you need to get some rest first, and then you can go home. ''Okay, did I get the globe or not'' Marinette asked. ''Yip you got it, but if you do that again I swear I will put a tracker on you'' Paxton spoke up. ''Especially since you are pregnant, you came this far Mari, don't mess this up'' The blue nodded and they left but Devante stayed behind. ''Dev why are you still here'' Marinette asked. ''I will be your bodyguard'' He smiled. ''Oh, well you can come in the room in not going anywhere anytime soon''
''At least you get bragging rights, I doubt half the people in Chat's house got shot before'' he chuckled. ''Oh, I guess I do'' Mari smiled. ''Well you have an advantage of being a cool mom now, not that you wouldn't be a cool mom, it's just that now you will be even more-'' ''Thanks, I know what you mean'' He smiled. ''So uhm do you have any names in mind'' Devante asked curiously. ''Yeah, but I don't know if it's a boy or girl yet so''
''Oh yeah I remember that's tough, how about a baby shower are you having one of those'' he asked trying to take her mind off of getting shot and all. ''Uhm No not really, I haven't told my dad and I don't want to tell him either. And Adrien hates our baby anyway so no'' She frowned. ''I doubt it's hate-'' ''No it's clear, he hates. my baby really hate, and I'm not far behind either from the moment I give birth then you will see how much he hates me. This is difficult''
He felt terrible for her. ''please stop looking at m like that I can feel you watching me with pity in your eyes, everyone does it around here, even my doctors, everyone except the person that caused this'' He sighed. ''Well maybe in the future you go out with your child and you bump into some hot fun person and he treats you like you deserve and loves your child just as much as you do and takes care of both of you, remember Mari, Adrien doesn't own you, you can leave if you want, I know you feel like you owe him or something but you don't leave and get out if you want''
