"Mommy? My tummy is hurting me." Hugo sobbed. "Oh baby, did you eat anything weird or different?" He shook his head rubbing his eyes. "I w-want to sleep." He replied. "Baby, you have a fever, you should take a shower first okay." He nodded and his mother picked him up and took him to her bathroom.

She undressed him and sat him in the tub. Hugo watched as the water started filling the white tub, up to his upper belly.

His mother put some bubble bath in the water and then started to wash his hair and give him a bath.

After, she dresses him in shorts and a simple t-shirt and he climbed up on her bed. She hugged him closely and read to him while brushing his hair. Hugo laid on her and stared at the story book.

"M-Mommy? When is daddy coming back?" He asked as his father had not been home for a week. "Uhh, soon baby, he'll come back soon okay, p-promise..." she whispered. "I miss him, is he on work?" Hugo asked, "uhm, he just took a trip okay." She replied.

"Aw, I wish he took me with him." He smiled. "No baby, you are to stay with mommy okay, I'll get you some water okay." She got up and walked down to the kitchen.

"Mari, we need to talk about Lila-" " I can't right now, just let me put Hugo to sleep, I'll meet you downstairs okay." Paxton nodded and walked away.

She returned to Hugo and gave him a small pill followed by a drink of water, she then hummed a song to him sending him to sleep.

Time skip...

"You wanted to talk?" She asked. "We have a location on Lila, we are gonna make her pay Marinette, I'm sure of it." He assured.

"Okay, I'll go get dressed-" "I'm sorry what?! I hope you are getting dressed to go to bed, because it's the only place you would be going." He glared. "I am going, whether you like it or not, I will get my revenge for what she did to my boyfriend. Are you seriously gonna stop me?"

"Mari, if this was any other day, I would take you, but you are pregnant, do you wanna risk your child's life?" He asked.

"My child won't have a life if I don't act right now. I am fed up, of hiding, I want to be able to take my kids to a park without a body guard, I want to be able to send them to school without one of you going undercover to protect them from this woman, I am going!" She yelled before storming up the stairs.

She got dressed in a black leggings, white t-shirt and a black leather jacket, Adrien's black leather jacket. She kissed Hugo on the head before leaving.

"Why is she here?" Caleb asked. "She's stubborn." Paxton rolled his eyes. Caleb shook his head and soon the driver took off.

"Where are we going exactly?" She asked.

"An abandoned safe house, the cops raided it a few years ago so she must be really desperate to be in a hot spot like that." Kim replied.

20 minutes later...

They arrived and the guys got out. "Where are you going? We have to check out the place before you can go in there, stay here," Caleb spoke up.

"But I-" "Stay here, before I strap you down with that goddamn seat belt, I'm not losing another one of one." She sighed and sat back. He closed the door and they drafted a plan before heading in...

10 minutes later...

*gunshots*

Marinette shots up and looks around, but no one comes out. About a minute later, she sees Lila sneaking out the side entrance.

She exited the car and went out after her.

The blue followed the woman to a garage, Lila picked up some duck tape and started bandaging her arm where she was shot.

"Oh great, you came. Do you have a death wish woman?" She asked watching her from the cloudy mirror...

"You did shot me in the boob, that was a bitchy move, thank God I had these babies, I simply had to remove a boob, but I do tend to hold grudges." She said grabbing a knife from in her boot.

"Where is your prince charming now? Oh that's right, dead, you should thank me, I'm gonna send you to him, and then I'll send your precious little Hugo also-"

Marinette picked up the wrench and smacked her in the stomach. Lila stumbled back and groaned.

She ran the mom around the room and soon caught up go her, she grabbed her hair and hit her head against the mirror, Marinette cried out in pain as her head bled she then picked up a glass bottle and hit Lila on the head.

Lila dropped the knife to the floor and yelled angrily.

Marinette scurried to grabbed the knife. But once she got it, Lila pinned her on the floor with the knife to her stomach.

They struggled for a while and then her eyes widened as they could both hear the sounds on her flesh tearing due to the serrated knife going into her...

"Marinette?!" Caleb called rushing to her, he picked her up and sat her on the counter.

"Oh fuck, you are bleeding-" "it's not mine, it's hers." She said looking at Lila trying to crawl her way out the room.

He grabbed his gun and went up to her, Caleb grabbed her by the hair and whispered, "you messed with the wrong family, now you would pay." He pressed the gun to her head and pulled the trigger.

Marinette just stared, she was relieved but still sad...

Although her enemy's skull was shattered in front of her, this was not going to assist with the loss of her husband. She got off the table and walked back to the cars.

"Are you okay, where hurts?" Paxton asked.

"My heart... and my head... let's just go home, I need to check on my son." She replied getting in the car...
