It's been two weeks since Adrien planned on being a father to his son. He started talking to him whenever Marinette wasn't there knowing she might still be off edge about him. ''So what do you like about your mom'' Adrien asked as he and Hugo sat on the sofa. ''Well, she is really nice to me, she loves me, she is pretty, she can bake and cook really well, she is fun. And she is my only parent that I can talk to'' He responded merrily.

''So if you met your dad what will you say'' He thought for a while before a bright smile appeared on his face. ''I would tell him I love him, and I would want him and mommy to love each other I don't like when she is sad'' Hugo frowned. Adrien was surprised honestly ''I have to go so by mister'' Hugo said before running off to his room to get ready for bed.

THE NEXT DAY

Adrien had just come home from work and saw Alya leaving. ''What's with the long sad face'' He asked Hugo. ''Nothing'' Hugo responded before he walked outside and sat by the pool alone. ''Hey, what's wrong'' Adrien asked again following him. ''Is my mommy gonna die'' He asked and Adrien was confused and worried. ''Why do you ask'' Adrien asked the young boy. ''She has been sick a long time now a-and today she threw up blood and fainted, then the doctor came, is she okay'' Hugo asked looking up at him as tears gathered in his eyes. 

''I don't want her to die, then she will leave me, a-and I don't have a daddy either so I'll be alone'' He was now sobbing. ''She is fine okay, now stop crying'' Adrien picked him up and handed him to Caleb before rushing into Mari's room. ''Adrien'' she said after seeing him standing next to her. ''What's wrong now'' He asked before Hugo came running into the room. ''Mommy'' he said running up to her on the bed. His short arms, he latched to her and hugged her tightly, 

''Please don't leave me, I don't want to be without a mom and a dad'' Hugo cried bitterly. ''I'm not gonna die, baby, I'll be fine okay, Mommy has a cold okay she will be okay and Uncle Pax will take care of you-'' ''I don't want him to I want you, mommy, don't leave me'' His tears reminded Adrien of himself when he found out his mother was dying. 

Adrien stared at them and Marinette let her tears roll down her face. ''Hugo listen to me baby, You need to be strong okay, for mommy, you have your entire life ahead of you and you are cute and smart and funny and you are the love and joy of my life, and the only reason I am still fighting okay you understand right baby'' ''But I need a mom'' Hugo responded not letting her go. 

''Hugo you can be anything you want to be okay, without a mom and a dad-'' ''I don't want to be without a mom too!'' Everyone was in tears, Adrien's tear rolled down his cheek and dropped to the floor. Hugo's was everywhere and Mari's were either on her son or along her pale cheeks. ''Hugo you need to let Mommy go okay'' Paxton came into the room and Hugo just hugged her tighter. ''Hugo-'' ''NO!'' The boy yelled angrily as hot tears stained his face. ''Baby please-'' ''No mommy!'' Her heart broke as he bawled in her arms.

''Paxton'' She turned to him and he took Hugo away ''No! MOMMY. Let me go, Let me go please'' His screams echoed throughout the house as Marinette cried sitting on her bed. ''So what is this now, you are leaving him too'' Adrien asked. 

''Fuck you Adrien'' Marinette yelled angrily. ''Every single day I think of you and what we could've been and you do nothing, NOTHING. So don't you dare open your mouth now I don't care what you think I-I do everything for the people I love, you know what hurts the most, he thinks you love him and that you are just busy, but you have been right there his whole life and n-never once reached out to him. I shouldn't have kept with when I found out I was pregnant, none of this would have happened a-and he wouldn't be going through this his life is ruined, he is gonna remember this Adrien and you just don't care about him, he loves you, he loves you so so much Chat. I love you, this is your fault Adrien you caused this, you got me pregnant, if you didn't Hugo wouldn't be here, Christian wouldn't be gone his family would be together and we would be too, all of this is your fault, It's yours Adrien I-I'm done trying, I can't keep hoping and praying you would come around, it's been three years, three fucking years I can't Adrien, your dad is taking Hugo for a while, I'm going to say my goodbyes. I-I am going to Shanghai to get my treatment or whatever because your dad cares more about me than you. You know before Hugo came, you would move mountains to get me medicine if I even had the slightest cough but now, I'm just some underage girl you fucked, got pregnant, and abandoned, well now I wished you did fulfill the stupid bee's wish and killed me when you had to, Doubt you would've gotten a dead girl pregnant, so if you change your mind you know where to find me.'' 

She got up and left the blonde in the room with his thoughts and tears. Heading downstairs she walked into the kitchen where Hugo was. ''Mommy'' Hugo hugged her tightly with tear-filled eyes. Picking him up she placed the boy on the island and sat in front of him.''Baby I want you to listen to me okay, Look Mommy is sick-'' ''Are you gonna get better'' He interrupted and she wiped away his tear. 

''Yeah I will but I need to go away for a while okay a-and when I get back we are gonna spend every single day together and I will get you that baby sister you want so much a-and a dog if you be a good boy, okay I know you will anyway so I promise I will okay. So both Grandpubba's are gonna take care of you, okay, And I know you will be good for mommy right'' he nodded and she sighed. ''Mommy loves you so so sooo much you have no idea and I am so so sorry for everything I will get better, okay and I will get better very fast okay I promise I will come back for you okay'' He nodded again and Hugged her tightly. 

It was heartbreaking watching some of the tough guys come of their shells and shed some tears as their 'nephew' cried his eyes out (not literally ofc) ''I love you too Mama'' Hugo responded before giving her a kiss on her cheek. ''I'll call you every day and I will sing you a lullaby okay'' She giggled wiping her tears and nodded. ''That's my big boy, now come on Grandpa has ice cream waiting for you'' Taking him down he hugged her neck as she walked out leaving the men as some of them followed her for security reasons...
