''Mama'' Hugo said walking up to her room. ''Yes baby'' She replied picking him up. ''Can I watch something on the tv'' Hugo asked. ''Yeah, wanna watch Cory'' His mom asked walking to the living room where Adrien, Chris, and Devante were sitting all on their phones. ''Hey Big man how are you'' Chris asked.

''I'm gonna watch Cory'' he said smiling. ''But you watched all of the episodes already, maybe you can watch something else other than Cory Carson'' Hugo shook his head and Chris picked up the remote and he sat on the floor with his toy cars.

Halfway into the show he got up and placed the green girl car on the coffee table and rested his head next to it staring at it. ''Mama can I have a sissy, like Crissy'' Hugo beamed up. ''Uhm you need a daddy for that baby'' She replied as the guys all stayed quiet.

''Why dwon't I have a daddy'' He asked pushing the car gently. ''Uhm daddy is-'' ''Everyone has a pubba but mwe, I want a pubba too'' Hugo frowned on the verge of tears. ''Sometimes you can't get everything you want baby'' Marinette said picking him up. ''But Cory has a dwaddy a-and a sissy, I want a Pubba and a sissy too'' Hugo whispered sadly as a single tear rolled down his cheek. ''Hugo... maybe one day okay'' she whispered back. He rested her head on her and hugged her tightly. ''Okay, mommy'' the small boy responded wiping his tear.

Adrien got up and left the living room and Marinette sighed as Hugo took his toy and walked away too. ''Mari you are doing a great job, and you know one day he would have asked'' ''Yeah I know but I don't want him to feel that Adrien doesn't want him, even though that is the case'' She replied. ''Want me to talk to him'' Chris offered. ''No thanks, Hopefully, he will forget about it and move on.''

A Week Later...

''Momma'' Hugo called as Marinette came out of the bathroom. ''are you swick'' He asked as he threw up a few seconds ago. ''No baby, would you like to meet grandpa today'' Mari asked smiling. ''Yep,'' he smiled back and jumped onto her bed. ''Hey, no kitties jumping on the bed or else doctor will have to pay you a visit if you get hurt'' Marinette said sitting on the bed. ''Okay, momma'' he respond and stood on the bed hugging her neck. ''Come on let's get ready'' 

After packing a bag for her son Mari got into the car with Adrien and they drove away so Gabriel can meet his grandson. ''So what are you gonna tell your grandpa'' Marinette asked as Hugo sat in his car seat playing with a toy plane.

''I don't know'' He responded. ''Why does everyone have big houses is my grandpa a giant'' He asked as Adrien pulled into the driveway. His dad chuckled and Marinette just smiled at him until it was time to get out.

Hugo pressed the doorbell as Mari picked him up and was soon greeted by Gabriel. ''Hi grandpubba, I'm Hugo your grandbaby mwomma said we are related'' Hugo smiled widely and they all snickered at his speech. ''You are a big boy aren't you, Nice to meet you Hugo come on inside'' He welcomed.

''So Hugo how old are you'' Gabriel asked as he and Marinette came back from the kitchen to see him on the floor playing with his toy car Cory. ''I am 2 years old'' Hugo replied. ''How old are you'' He asked. ''Way older than your mom and dad'' he chuckled. ''So do you have a pet'' Gabriel asked. ''Nope,'' Hugo responded shaking his head side to side. ''What do you like'' He thought for a bit and stood up looking at all the picture frames around the house. ''I love my mama'' He smiled at Mari and she sent him a kiss.

''What about your dad'' Gabriel asked. ''I don't have a pubba'' Hugo whispered staring out the glass window leading to the backyard. ''What does that mean'' He asked Marinette. ''His father doesn't want to acknowledge Hugo to be his son so Hugo doesn't know who his father is'' Marinette responded taking Hugo's hand and taking him outside to the backyard.

Gabriel P.O.V

''Adrien'' I called as he was outside on the phone. ''Yeah,'' he responded. ''What's your deal with the kid,'' I asked. ''Well you and Marinette aren't really in a relationship anymore but she is still at your house for some reason, Your son lives with you but doesn't know you are his father so what's going on''

''You know, for someone who didn't even have time for their son, you seem to care about my life now'' He shot back. ''Well, at least I do'' he just rolled his eyes. ''Adrien, I'm sorry I wasn't there for you but you can be different for your son, I wasn't there, and look how you turned out, He is a good kid Adrien and how long are you gonna keep doing this to his mother she has already been through a lot, you had a great example of what not to do, don't make that poor kid turn out into something like you or me'' I replied before walking off to meet Marinette.

''So the next time you come over, you will have your own room next to mine, a pool and a trampoline right there maybe even a pet'' I whispered the last part and he snickered. ''Thanks,'' Marinette smiled. ''Anytime, you are doing a great job raising him'' Hugo just ran around the backyard chasing after his football, and Marinette and I sat down watching him.

''He wouldn't have turned out this great if it wasn't for those guys back home, they really helped in raising him a lot'' Marinette said. ''What about you, is there a man waiting for his beautiful girlfriend to come back to him'' ''No, Hugo has a father and I don't want to replace him even if he doesn't want him, So I'm not gonna move on until Adrien settles this between us, and I never really moved on from Chat either'' she whispered. Adrien had a girlfriend with a heart of gold he was missing out on the life of his son and her big time and he didn't even know it...
