she was hurt as Adrien proposed to her half-sister even though they haven't been together for more than a year or even 6 months she's been with him for years and they have a son together yet things weren't serious...

Hugo's birthday was two weeks from now...

''So daddy is coming to pick you up in a bit so you need to get ready kay'' His mother smiled. ''Okay,'' he responded before running up the stairs to his room to get ready to leave.

Four days before Hugo's birthday...

''So how is your mother'' Adrien asked as Hugo lay with him on his bed. ''She is great Luka and momma are best friends now he stays over a lot too and he has a big house like you too, it's cool, and he also has some nice dogs, like Bubba. and mommy and him play a lot too'' Hugo beamed. ''oh... great, but mommy is here so let's go'' Adrien said picking up his son and taking him to his room to pack.

''Hey-'' He stopped as a man stood in front of him. ''Hey, I came to pick up Hugo. I'm Luka who are you'' Luke replied. ''Hugo's dad'' He responded. ''Hi Luka, where is mommy'' Hugo asked running into his arms. ''She is at the hospital for a check-up, don't worry, everything is great'' he assured. ''Okay, bye Pubba'' Hugo said before Luka took the kid to his car and buckled him in before taking him back home to his mother.

Hugo's Birthday...

''Hey baby, sorry I couldn't be there, I promise I will make it up to you'' Marinette said over the phone. ''Okay mommy, I miss you'' He whispered. ''I miss you too baby, but daddy is there with you and bubba, and make sure and feed him before he eats daddy's stuff... again and becomes mister grumpy pants kay baby'' She chuckled making him laugh. ''I heard that'' Chat yelled from the sofa. ''Great, I have to go now so I love you and have a great birthday my big boy I will be back as soon as I can okay'' Marinette said sending him a kiss. After getting one in return they hung up and Hugo enjoyed the rest of his birthday without his mother.

Two days later...

''Daddy, wake up'' Hugo said before he jumped onto his bed only to discoer his aunt and his father hugging each other's nude body. ''Hugo-'' Before he could say anything Hugo ran out of the room. ''Shit'' he yelled before quickly getting up and throwing on some pants.

''Why are you sleeping with her, you only have to sleep with my mommy and me'' Hugo crossed his arm as tears gathered in his eyes. ''Hugo, it's not like that kay, I promise we are just friends, okay and she wanted a hug like mommy does and she is your aunty so I gave her a hug till she fell asleep kay that's all'' Adrien lied to his now 3-year-old son.

''Oh, okay, sorry,'' Hugo responded. ''It's okay, and it's 6 in the morning why are you up'' Adrien whined. ''Uhm, Bubba woke me up'' Hugo chuckled. ''What, he is in the house'' Adrien yelled. ''Well he needed a hug too, he is lonely outside and it's raining.'' The boy replied swaying side to side.

''Oh wow, okay then what do you want to do then'' His father asked. ''Uhm, call mommy'' He cheered. ''It's a bit early for that, maybe later kay, breakfast first''
