''Uhm are you free today'' Marinette asked after knocking on the door of his office. ''Uhm why'' He asked as he stopped typing. ''Uh I am going out and the boys are away for the day and I don't wanna disturb anyway cuz they have a day off so I want to know if to carry him with me or if you can watch Hugo'' Marinette asked. ''Oh yeah, of course, I'm not that busy so yeah'' He replied. ''Greta thank you, he is asleep right now I am going to get ready'' Marinette replied before walking back up the stairs.

''Oh you look nice where are you going'' Adrien asked as he stood at the entrance of her door. ''Thanks, can you...'' she asked standing in front of him. ''I'm going to a birthday party with my dad and I barely know anyone so it would be safer not to take Hugo with me'' She replied as he slowly zipped up her dress. She flinched at his touch on her skin and he pulled away when he was finished.
''Hi Momma and Pubba, where are you going'' Hugo said as he jumped onto her bed. ''Morning love'' she pecked his head. ''Daddy is babysitting you today so no trouble okay'' Marinette responded resting her nose on his. ''Okay, bye Momma'' Hugo said before he kissed her cheeks. ''Thanks again'' She said to Adrien and he nodded, ''The house is ours'' Hugo yelled excitedly as Mari left the room. She giggled and left to meet her dad.
LATER THAT DAY...
''Hey, how was your day'' Adrien asked. ''It was fine where is my son'' Marinette asked as the house was dead quiet. ''Uhm asleep, and he is our son'' Adrien responded. ''Mh hmm'' She replied crossing his arms. ''He is still mine, you always said keep YOUR CHILD, YOUR child is crying, YOUR son, so I'm just going with what you said'' Mari shot back.
''Mari, come on, when can we go back to how we were before I tripped out a Lil'' He asked and she scoffed. ''A little, Adrien you don't know half of what I went through during your as you say Lil block out, I will never ever be the same, I don't even know if I want to get back together with you, you hurt me so much-''
''Mari please'' Adrien begged. ''I know I hurt you, and I know what I did was so so wrong but please let me make it better one more chance. I-I will do anything you want-'' ''Okay, leave me alone Hugo needs you, I don't'' She said before walking off. Adrien sighed and slumped back on the sofa.
DAYS LATER...
''Mommy why is Pubba sad'' Hugo asked playing with his cereal. ''Baby some people just like their own way too much, now your cereal needs to disappear from that bowl. ''I'm not hungry, can I go outside, please'' Marinette sighed and nodded. ''Adrien'' Mari called as he walked past her. ''What'' He asked gloomily. ''Uhm, Nevermind'' she sighed and walked away.
After she made a call to Clara she also called her dad and just sat down on her bed thinking about what she wanted to do with her Adrien situation. ''Uhm Marinette'' Adrien knocked on the door. ''Yeah,'' she replied. ''I'm sorry I replied to you that way, I'm sorry I messed up your life, I'm sorry I got you pregnant and abandoned you, I'm so so sorry I hurt you, I'm sorry I messed up with Hugo at the beginning, I know I can say sorry a million time and wouldn't change what I did and what you went through, But I would like to make it up to you for Hugo's sake because I don't want Hugo to grow up and make the same mistakes I made, and you deserve the world Marinette and I know you won't be able to just forget everything that I caused but please, please, please let me make it up to you, I know you don't like when I make promises but, I promise I would be the best father to Hugo and a great friend to you if not boyfriend or more, please let me make it up to you'' He pleaded with teary eyes.
''Okay'' She replied and his shoulders dropped with relief. ''Thank you thank you so so much I promise you won't regret it'' he said. ''Thank you'' she whispered. ''For'' He asked confused. ''For changing your mind about Hugo and not giving up'' ''Mari I would never give up on you ever, I love you'' she whispered back. ''Don't do that please'' she said stepping back. ''What'' He asked. ''the. I love you, I'm not ready for anyone else to tell me they love me except Hugo, You always told me you loved me, and then...'' she trailed off and he frowned. ''Oh... okay, Sorry uhm do you want to talk about what you went through'' Adrien asked. ''Do you want to know'' she asked and he nodded. ''Okay, uhm-'' she started as they sat down on the bed. Marinette cried for the remainder of the night until she fell asleep. Adrien was filled with guilt and regret and he was never going to get over it...
A WEEK LATER
Marinette and Adrien had gotten closer over the last week Marinette has tried to push everything to the back of her memory while Adrien was still guilt-filled and Hugo was the same old happy as ever. ''Hey Mari, Paxton took Hugo to the park.'' He responded. ''Oh okay, where are you going'' she asked. ''To work, my dad wants to have a meeting with everyone so I'm going in a bit''
''Oh cool okay'' She responded. ''You still have that'' Adrien chuckled as she had a ring on her finger that he had bought her when he came back for her birthday. ''Yeah I never took it off'' She smiled. ''Oh, okay'' he smiled back. Moving closer to her he left a small kiss on the side of her lips. ''I love you'' he whispered before she deepened the kiss standing on his shoes as she was still shorter than him by a lot, ''I missed you''
She sobbed hugging him tightly. ''I missed you too'' Adrien said hugging her back, as he rubbed her back as she cried. ''Sorry,'' she pulled away. ''No it's fine, can we start off small and make our way up'' He asked. ''Yeah,'' She responded. ''Great'' He swooped her up and spun her around. ''You have no idea how long I wanted to kiss you again'' He whispered as she smiled. ''I missed our kisses to kitty'' she replied. ''Oo I am your kitty again'' he cheered excitedly. ''Silly Kitty cat, you were always my kitty blondie'' She replied.
''Great, well I know how to win you over so soon we gonna be in that same bathroom and I'm gonna be eating you out on that same counter'' he smirked and she blushed dark red. ''Uhhhh you are gonna be late so get out'' she said pushing him. ''Bye, my bugaboo'' he pecked her again before leaving...
