As the days passed and the nightmares continued Marinette sought help as now she had another set of flashbacks running through her mind from her own boyfriend. ''Marinette did you eat breakfast today'' Adrien asked walking up to her. ''Uh no-'' He took her hand. ''Mari you have to-'' ''I'm Sorry okay Nath just leave me alone'' She sobbed bitterly. He slowly let go of her hand in shock. ''Mari It's me Adrien I'm not Nathaniel Mari-'' ''I'm sorry Adrien'' she whispered before running away.

After a very long time of searching for her, the cat leaped around only to find her about a mile away at a pond on his estate. There were swans gliding on the water and little ducks waddling close by And his girlfriend sat on the green grass with her head buried between her knees. He could see her frail body shaking as he moved closer to her she was terrified.

''Princess'' He called. ''I'm sorry-'' ''Baby you didn't do anything okay, I messed up and It's my fault, I'm sorry and you shouldn't be going through this'' He said sitting next to her. ''Do you still get nightmares'' He asked and she nodded in response. ''When I went with Hugo to get dog food, I-I saw him a-and he said he hasn't forgotten about me and he reminded me about what happened. And I started back having nightmares, and Mariana was always there flirting with you, and you were always asking me to have sex and then that happened and I'm sorry I pushed you away I was stressed a-and then I started back talking to Caleb's mom and doing therapy and I don't know what to do, it won't get out of my head'' She sobbed bitterly into her palms.

''Mari, baby you didn't do anything wrong, okay I promise, and I am a bit mad you didn't tell me about Nathaniel but thank you for not telling me because I would have gone insane if I found out earlier, but that still doesn't make it right, I love you Princess and you can't be sad like this, Hugo needs a strong mother, he needs happy Marinette and I'm sorry I made you sad and uncomfortable, I really am so please forgive me'' He said hugging her tightly. ''Of course kitty I know you didn't mean it, just... try to control your anger please, I don't want Hugo seeing that side of you and it's scary'' She said curling up in a ball. ''I know sorry Princess, I will make it up to you okay'' He said before he placed a soft kiss on her cheek.

''So wanna talk about it on our long way back'' He chuckled. ''Sure, but I'm enjoying your presence so you will have to wait till I'm ready to get up'' She said sitting between his legs. ''Alright baby anything for my princess'' Adrien replied as he detransformed wrapping his arms around her staring out into the lake at the family of animals.

About a week Later...

''Hugo is supposed to be coming home from Gabriel's tomorrow morning so can you feed his dog please, I'm going to look for Adrien'' Marinette asked Caleb. ''Yeah no problem, after I need some love advice'' ''Of course'' Marinette grinned before she made her way to the basement searching for her boyfriend.

''So who is going to tell Marinette'' She overheard Kim talking to someone. ''You want someone to go tell Marinette that her boyfriend and father of her child is cheating on her with her half-sister. Yeah, I'll save her the heartbreak, she has enough shit to deal with already'' The man responded. ''Well sooner or later she is going to find out'' Tears gathered in her eyes as she slowly backed away from them, she turned around and ran upstairs.

''You okay'' Caleb asked as Marinette bumped into him on her way up. ''Just-'' she stopped as tears streamed down her face. He knew by the look on her face it was over, she had finally had enough. ''I'm sorry'' he said hugging her tightly. ''I will never be enough'' she muttered through sobs. ''Hey, you are perfect, okay, do not bring yourself down Marinette, you are a great mother and a great girlfriend to him, he hasn't realized what he has Promise me you will never ever forgive him for anything that he did that broke your heart, Mari you can't keep doing this to yourself, and what are you leaving for your son, don't keep going down that road, Just think about it okay'' He whispered as she hugged him tightly and just cried. Kim, Ethan, and some others knew what was going on and all felt the same for her.
