Mitch's P.O.V

And he left.

The image of him closing the door kept replaying in my head. I just don't understand why he would do this to me.

I don't know what I am to Scott anymore. Boyfriend? Friend? Enemy? I don't really know anymore. And I'm not going to ask him, either. He might not want to talk to me or see me.

3 years later

I haven't seen him in three years. Three years... and I'm still here. Wondering what he's doing or even where he is. Should I still be like this? No.

The only place that can cheer me up is the mall. I was walking around until someone bumped into me.

"Oh my gosh! I'm sorry," he said. "It's okay," I said and started walking away.

"Mitch?" I spun around on my heel. "Scott?"

I stared at him for a while until I turned around again. "Wait, Mitch!" I kept running until I got to the door that lets you outside of the mall. He grabbed onto my wrist. "Stop!" I stopped and he sighed.

"Just leave me alone, Scott," I said. "I want to talk to you, Mitchell," he whispered. "About?"

"Us," he said. "There is no us," I laughed. "But... there can be," he told me. I laughed again, "No. There can't be an us. You already hurt me and I'm not letting it happen again. You've changed so much that I can barely recognize you. The only thing that hasn't changed is that you still don't have eyebrows." He bit his cheek, trying to hold back a laugh.

"You don't know what I'm like, though," he whispered. "And I don't want to know. You have a boyfriend, Scott."

"You don't know that," he said. "But-"

Before I could say anything else, he slammed his lips onto mine. He wouldn't let me pull back, so I slowly gave into it and out my arms around his neck. I saw someone coming up to us out of the corner of my eye.

I pulled away to see who it was because he seemed pretty mad. "SCOTT!?" It was Alex? "Scott! Do you want to explain this to me?!" I yelled. "I-I um," he stuttered. "That's what I thought," I said quietly and walked away.

"I'm done with you, Scott Hoying!" I yelled over my shoulder.

A/N- ok so this is going to be a lot longer than I thought oops
