9 hours.
That's all I have left with you.
"It'll be okay. We'll be back together and reunited before you know it," he said. And I believed him because I needed to if I was to go through the day without crying.
"I'm gonna miss you so much, babe. You have a great future ahead of you and you know that you can do it by yourself. You're strong, Scott," I whispered.
~
8 hours.
That's all I have left with you.
"Come cuddle with me. I'm leaving the soon."
I walked over to him and put my head on his chest, slowly dozing off, and reminding myself to kiss him before falling asleep for a short while. I kissed him and fell asleep.
~
7 hours.
That's all I have left with you.
"Sweetie, wake up," I heard.
I opened my eyes and saw a perfect human being in front of me. Scott handed me my coffee before he began typing on his computer. Probably something for work.
~
6 hours.
That's all I have left with you.
"Scottney, come kiss me," I said.
Because I knew that it would be one of our last for a long time.
And so you kissed me. Passionately.
~
5 hours.
That's all I have left with you.
We took our last walk outside.
"Remember this place," Scott said, pointing to a pizza place, "where we had so many lunches and dinner together?"
I nodded.
~
4 hours.
That's all I have left with you.
We started our crying fest.
Because we couldn't handle the stress.
You were leaving for your future.
~
3 hours.
That's all I have left with you.
Kirstie, Avi, and Kevin stopped by to say their finally goodbyes. At least for a while. The group won't be much of a group without you.
And you realized that.
~
2 hours.
That's all I have left with you.
We spent this hour watching Spongebob and hanging out like we used to when we were younger.
Those were some good times.
The days when we didn't care about anything or anyone.
Except for each other, of course.
~
1 hour.
That's all I have left with you.
I poured my feelings out to you and you poured yours out to me. All about how we love each other and the future will be great and we will see each other again.
"I love you, okay? You know I do and I won't forget you. I will never, ever forget you, Mitchell. Please don't give up," Scott said, holding my face in his hands.
"Of course I won't forget you. We're meant to be together. I love you," I said.
I kissed you one last time and you walked out of the door.
~
You're gone now and I've realized that nine is my lucky number.
Because the last nine hours we had together were the best of my life.
And since I go by a famous quote, I might as well tell you all here.
We're all stories in the end, just make it a good one, eh? - Doctor Who
