"I-I hearted him," Mitch said to Kirstie, holding his hands up in a heart formation to represent the 'L' word.

"I know, baby, I know. But, someday... somebody will come along and make you fall in love again," she said, trying to cheer him up.

"N-No! Kirstie, b-bad word. B-bad w-word!"

Mitch's boyfriend, at the time, had cheated on him. Of course, Mitch was sad, but also disappointed. He and his boyfriend had been in a serious relationship for six years and were engaged for two. Parker, his boyfriend, went out to a club without Mitch and things went downhill from there.

Mitch can't say the 'L' word because the last thing he said to Parker was, "I love you."

They heard a knock on the door and Kirstie shot up.

"Hello, Kirstin!" Mitch heard.

"Hey, Scottie!" Kirstie said enthusiastically. Scott. Mitch hadn't seen Scott since the breakup.

Kirstie let Scott enter her home and showed him the way to Mitch. As soon as he saw the brunette crying on the couch, he sighed and sat down next to him, bringing him in for a hug. Mitch quickly reciprocated and sobbed into the tall blonde's shoulder.

"Oh, Mitch, why would he do this to you? You lo-" Kirstie cut him off because Scott didn't realize that it was a 'bad' word. They heard another knock on the door and Kirstie went over to it, opening it. She gasped when she realized who it was. "Why are you here? You weren't invited," she said. "I'm just here to talk to my baby. I miss him dearly." There stood a smirking Parker leaning on the door frame. "Get the fuck out."

Kirstin wasn't one to swear a lot, but she did when something, or someone in this case, got on her nerves.

"K-Kirst? Who is i-it?" Mitch sniffled. "It's nobody, sweetheart, everything's okay."

Scott got up, curious, and looked past the short girl.

"Well, well, well. If it isn't Scott Hoying," Parker sneered.

"Parker," Scott whispered sharply.

"What do you really want? Because we all know you aren't here to talk to Mitch," Kirstie said quietly so Mitch wouldn't hear who it was.

"Fine. I'm here to tell this handsome devil in front of me to stay the fuck away from my Mitchie. You want to know why I cheated on that bitch? He's obviously in love with you, Scott. Wake. Up."

Mitch came up to Parker and tried to stand tall, not showing his fear.

"Y-Yes, I am. And maybe it's because you were never good to me. I always tried my best to be amazing for you, but you never appreciated me. Scott was always here for me and you never were. You had your chance and you blew it. Out of sight and out of mind. Scott is beautiful and always tells me that i am, too. I did... like you before I realized what a jerk you are."

"Mitch, you really think that?" Scott asked.

Kirstie pushed Parker out of her door and slammed the door on him.

"Yes. I love you," Mitch mumbled, barely audible.

"You what him?" Kirstie smiled.

"Love.'
