"Babe, can I ask you something" She asks as she's pulling her Jumper over her head.

"Sure what's up?"

"Umm?" She seems hesitant "I want you to turn me, you know. Like you?" And like that. I feel like I've been kicked in the stomach. I know I was going to broach the subject with her at some point but, to hear it come out of her mouth hits different. It makes me shudder.

"You're perfect as you are, why do you want to change. You're not asking for something simple like surgery here sweet!?" She bulks as I say that. Her eyes are brimming with tears now.

"I... I..." She stutters "I don't feel like I'm enough for you" How can she think this?

"Oh Hun you're everything to me"

"I dreamt you left me for someone else" Looking embarrassed

"Oh! I'm listening"

"It was so vivid, so real, like it was actually happening, and I couldn't do anything to stop it!"

"It was just a dream. I'm here and I'm not going anywhere" Putting my arms around her, God she is so insecure.

"It didn't feel like a dream. Will you change me then?" looking at me

"No Hun, I can't do that to you, you don't know what you're asking!"

"I'm asking to spend the rest of our days together, I'm going to get older as you stay the same. I'll be an old lady. we don't have a future this way. Change me and we do. If you love me you'll do this!"

"I just can't okay"

"Okay... I want you to leave" pulling out of our embrace

"Alice"

"Just go,  I wont ask you again"

"Fine, I'll message you later" going out of the window

"We do have doors you know?" shouting at me.

Pacing the room, Why wont he change me? He can't love me if he doesn't change me, he can't see a future for us? Swiping everything off the desk, crashing to the ground "AAAAAARGH!!" Breaking down onto the floor in full rage, pulling my hair "Why doesn't he love me?"
