AN: It is one of my hidden talents to leave you thirsty for more...

"Red!"

Kara chuckled darkly before kissing that exposed, pale neck. She was grinding against Lena's core, pulling whimpers from her. She felt the dampness through the sweatpants she was still wearing. "Yes. It is always your color. But what do you think of it on me?"

Lena's breath quickened. From panic or arousal, Kara couldn't tell the difference. She continued to lick and kiss marks around her jawline. Her hands ventured to the elastic band and started to pull the material down. She lightly brushed against sensitive skin around her hips, causing Lena to moan out and arch her back.

Lena snapped out of it when she felt Kara's hands dig into her thighs to pull her pants down further. She had to search her brain for the safeword that Kara had set instead of her usual. "Shit, shit. Zh- Zhao!"

Kara froze for a split second before scrambling to release Lena's wrists and to sit them both up on the couch. A crinkle became prominent on her forehead as she looked over the place she we biting and kissing. "Lee, zhao, what's wrong? Did I hurt you?"

"K-Kara. Wh-when were you exposed?" Lena was trying to suppress her tears. Regardless of the shocking truth, she was still very worked up and was desperate for relief. She tried to focus on the negative emotions swirling instead her. Otherwise, she was certain she would ignore the problem to jump the Kryptonian's bones.

The blonde's frown deepened. "Earlier in the day at the fire I responded to. Why?"

Lena stood up quickly and moved across the room to put distance between them. She quickly tossed back on the DEO shirt and hugged herself around her stomach. She broke down in tears and shuddering sobs. Kara was quick to rise as well, but when Lena flinched from her approach, she halted in her tracks. Seeing that reaction, it felt like she was just exposed to green kryptonite.

"Lee, what's going on? What's the matter?"

Lena exploded. "Wh-what's the matter?! Y-you're under the influence of a mind altering substance! You have been this entire time, and this is when you decide to tell me you love me and fuck me like it was our last night on Earth!"

"Zh-"

"Don't! Don't call me that. I have no idea on if any of this is real or just a result of the radiation flooding your system. You could be lying to me again. I- I have no way of getting it out of you, and it's not like you would let me anyways."

"I have told you nothing but the truth this entire time."

"Sure, Supergirl, including the fact that you have kryptonite in your system? I- I can't do this. I'm leaving. Don't follow me." Lena's CEO voice was back, but not in a good way.

"Lee... please."

Lena slammed the door to the safehouse, leaving behind a flustered Red K Kara. Thankfully, she thought ahead enough to snag a pair of sneakers on her way out the door. The CEO was trapped in her thoughts as she walked down the empty streets. She shouldn't known better than to trust the her best friend actually had feelings for her. She should've known the minute she walked into her office that something was off. She was just so blinded by feeling love from the one person she wanted it most. Lena wasn't around the first time Kara was exposed to the red kryptonite, but from what the news said and what she heard, Kara was violent and narcissistic. She said cruel things to those she was closest to. She couldn't trust anything her best friend said or did. For all Lena knew, it was a manipulation to cut her deeper than anyone else could. Whenever the DEO removes the substance, the CEO wasn't sure she would be able to face the reporter again. From her understanding, Kara was going to remember everything that happened during this time. Lena wouldn't be able to pretend that nothing had happened. She had slept with her best friend. There was no coming back from that.
