Lena.

Kara woke up in a cold sweat. She could barely remember what happened in her dream, but she couldn't stop herself. She was in her supersuit in a flash and flying toward the newly opened Foundation.

"Kara?" Lena asked with surprise in her voice. "What are you doing here? It's the middle of the night."

Kara landed in a rush, barely capable of avoiding making a crater. She scooped Lena up into a bear hug, not even fully realizing why she was there.

Lena wordlessly hugged the woman back, as hard as she could. They stood there for what seemed to be ages before Lena whispered in her ear, "What happened, darling?"

Kara shook her head without saying anything. The physical contact forced her body to relax, accepting that Lena was okay.

Lena leaned back to hold Kara's face in her hands. Her worried green eyes shifted back and forth, examining every inch of the blonde's face. "What's the matter, honey? I'm right here. Just talk to me."

"I- I don't know," Kara whispered hoarsely. "I just woke up in a panic."

"Oh, darling..." Lena hushed. She wrapped the hero up in another hug. "Shall we go home?"

Kara nodded her head, tucked in Lena's shoulder. They didn't even break apart before Kara started flying them home.

"Come on. Let's crawl into bed." Lena didn't even change out of her work clothes. She didn't make Kara get out of her suit. They just crawled into bed without breaking contact. "Go back to sleep, darling. I'm right here. We are okay."

The next morning, Kara woke up to Lena's kind green eyes and wandering hands. The corner of her mouth crept up and the crinkle between her brows became pronounced. She felt a modicum of shame for her reaction last night. It was just a dream afterall.

"Hey... Come back to me."

Kara buried her face in Lena's neck with a groan. "How do you always know? Are you sure you aren't a mind reader with you witch abilities?"

Lena scoffed lightheartedly. "No. You just start to look through me instead of at me. Your eyes give you away."

Kara purposefully leaned back with her eyes squeezed shut. "There. Now you can't see anything."

Lena rolled her eyes are her girlfriend's antics.

"I saw that."

Lena flicked Kara's forehead. "No using your xray vision, cheater."

"I resent that."

"Darling, you are stalling. We need to talk about last night, and you know that."

Kara let out another groan.

"Was it another nightmare?"

Kara fell silent and buried her face in Lena's chest.

"I'll take that as a yes." Lena let out a sympathetic sigh. "I really think you should talk to Kelly about these, but I can't make you. You know I'm here for you. Lillian is dead, and Lex is gone. Things have been calm."

"I know, I know."

"So, what is it? You still haven't told me about any of these dreams you've been having..." Lena can't keep the hurt out of her voice. Kara still can't trust her with them.

"I- I don't remember them. I just wake up, and I'm just always so scared..."

"Scared of what, darling?" Lena kept her voice nonjudgmental and light. She just wanted to help the woman, but she didn't know how.
