"Ah... there she is."

Taehyung pulled his car over and wound the window down, bending down and peering out of the passenger's window at Jisoo. Jisoo saw who the driver was and her face instantly turned dark.

"What do you want?"

"What do I want...?" Taehyung frowned. "Did you forget about our date or what?"

"Did you forget we're not on good terms right now or what?" Jisoo reminded him. "There's no way I'm going on a date with someone I'm on bad terms with, okay?"

"Who are you on bad terms with?" Taehyung pursed his lips. "'Cos I know for sure that I'm not on bad terms with you."

"Are you not?" Jisoo folded her arms and eyed him suspiciously. "'Cos I am. Goodbye."

Jisoo walked off and though taken by surprise, Taehyung engaged his gear and kept up with her.

"Ya... Kim Jisoo, don't be like that-" Taehyung kept trying. "It's something so trivial... we only have a week to do this, let's not let something as trivial as this get between us. Besides, this is not just a two of us thing... remember? This is for JK. We shouldn't let our personal differences get in the way with our work... that's not professional."

Taehyung's words seemed to convince Jisoo a little, because she stood there for a while in silence. Noticing her hesitation, Taehyung got out of the car and made his way round to her.

"Come on, don't think so much-" Taehyung reached out and held the passenger door open for her. "I'll treat you to a good meal... how does that sound?"

"Okay, fine-" Jisoo seemed to finally make up her mind as she turned to face Taehyung. "I'll drop our personal differences for now... just for Jungkook-ssi's sake. But... not today."

"What's that even supposed to mean?" Taehyung frowned, as he let go of the car door at once. "What do you mean you'll let it go but not today? That's like... That's like saying you're hungry, but you'll eat tomorrow. You can't eat tomorrow if you're hungry now... you can't say you'll let it go but only do it tomorrow."

"Ah, this is a different thing-" Jisoo looked a little hesitant, as she stared at the open car door waiting for her. "I don't mean what you think I mean... it's just that I have stuff on later today."

"How late?" Taehyung glanced down at his watch. "Don't you at least have to eat?"

"8pm," Jisoo answered simply.

"We have about 2 hours, then-" The smile returned onto Taehyung's face, as he grabbed hold of the car door once more. "That's more than enough time to grab a meal."

Jisoo pursed her lips. "Well..."

"Don't tell me you have yet another excuse to refuse me?"

"These aren't excuses-" Jisoo sighed. "Well... I've gotta leave by 7pm to take the train. So technically, we only have an hour."

"That's still more than plenty," Taehyung wouldn't back down now. "Where do you need to be at 8pm?"

Jisoo hesitated for a long time. "Itaewon."

"Ah, that's not too far-" Taehyung smiled. "I'll fetch you after, so we have an hour and a half. That's plenty of time to grab a quick bite. So... hop in?"

Three minutes later, Jisoo sat in the passenger seat of Taehyung's car, driving somewhere.

"So..." After a prolonged silence, Taehyung decided to initiate some conversation. "Where are you going later?"

Jisoo remained quiet.

Taehyung glanced in her direction, wondering whether she hadn't heard him, or if she'd heard but was pretending not to.
