Science club was over. I went to the parking lot and rushed into my car. I pulled out the the piece of paper from my bag. It had Captain's address, and his phone number. Unbelievable.

Captain's house happened to be really close to where I live. I wonder if it's the same house I once heard explosion and smoke from.

I went to a coffee shop first. I really needed to relax on going into a weirdo's house. I got a call from Cassy.

"Hey" I said.

"Sup", Cassy replied.

I rolled my eyes and said, "Captain invited me to his house cuz we need to finish our project".

"Oh you are? His house is nice."

I stomped my coffee on the table. "Wait what? You have been to his house?" I was surprised.

"Well yeah, everyone in science club has been there. He holds his meeting in his house sometimes."

I leaned forward. "So like there is no laser lights shooting everywhere. Or like there is no pool of acid I have to cross to get to his house?"

Cassy laughed. "No, calm down Al, his house is really nice, he got some really cool stuff there."

I thought for a second. "Whatever, feel better Cass I'll take to you later."

"Thanks bye!" She hanged up.

I drove into his driveway. Cassy was right, he didn't have any pool of acid.

I rang the doorbell and a girl opened the door. She had unbelievably high heels. And her eyeliner literally touched the back of her head. She wore a dark shade if lipstick and a black dress. Am I at the right house?

"Yes?" She asked.

"Is Captain here?" I asked.

"Yeah" she said. She looked at what I was wearing. "Why would you need to talk to Captain?" She seemed curious.

"I'm in Science club", I replied.

"Oh of course" she was chewing gum. "Come in."

She stepped back and opened the door wider. I walked in and turned to her. She pulled the gum out of her mouth. "Yoh Freakhead! Someone from science thingy is here!" She put the gum back in her mouth.

A voice from upstairs came, "alright, I'm coming!".

The girl screamed again, "dude I'm going to Sarah's party! Imna be home late!" She turned to me. "Cute outfit" she complimented and left. I always wear cute outfits. Duh.

I walked around. Captain did have a really nice house. One picture in the corner said, "Science a Day, Makes my Day!" I giggled. Science a day, that's just gay.

I kept looking around. I saw some pictures of Captain's parents, some paintings and weird rocks set on a corner table.

But something caught my eye. There was a table that had a shiny metal thing. There were small tube connected to it. It was round and had little light bulbs on the sides. Strangely, it looked beautiful. I stood right in front of it.

"It's an electric water mirror," came a voice behind me. I turned around. Captain explained even more about it. "I have been working on it for quiet a while now." I turned back to the the mirror.

Then I felt something come unbelievably close to my back. Captain was behind me. His chest brushed my shoulders. He put his hands on the power switch and turned it on.

A nice filed water drained from the top of the round mirror. Then the lights opened and I saw two faces in the water. Mine and Captain's. We both starred at our reflection. Silently listening to the sound of the falling water.

I reached my hand out and tried to touch the water. Captain grabbed by wrist and slowly dragged my hand down a split second before my fingers would have touched the water.

"Careful," he said, "you don't want to get an electric shock silly."

I stayed quiet. Captain's hands were still holding on to my wrist. I quickly moved it away. "Um cool mirror," I said.

"Thank you," he replied, he looked down. "Uh shall we work on the fireworks?"

I nodded. "Yeah."
