I really didn't feel like going to school after a trashed party where stomach acid is dropped on my feet and the genius scientist gets stoned.
I really messed up this time. It's more serious than turning the janitor's arm green.
Not to mention but his arm is still green...
As my messed up thoughts rolled into a ball and grew bigger and bigger, I got more depressed.
Damn it, why couldn't I be penguin, isolated all by myself?
Cassie called about an hour later asking why wasn't I at school.
"Why aren't you at school?"
I rubbed my forehead and spoke. "I really couldn't- wait aren't you in class right now? How are you calling me?"
There was a silence for a few seconds. But I could hear her whispering to someone.
"Yeah I'm not really in class. Captain pulled me out of class because he wanted me to call you and ask why aren't you at school.."
Isn't he upset about the party? Didn't I jacked up his life?
"Let me talk to him... Privately."
Without a word she handed the phone to him. "Alumin?"
I swear my heart skipped a beat. "Oh my god, I'm really sorry, I didn't really mean to mess your brain. The only reason I took you was because I needed backup and then I lost you at the party and then this guy threw up on my shoe and by the time I found you, you were shoving brownies into your mouth and you were high as hell and I'm really sorry I hope you-"
"Please stay calm. All is forgiven Alumin." He chuckled.
Well that was a waste of tears.
"But I'm really sorry," I began to wipe tears off my face.
"Its alright. Just a wonder, why exactly did we go to a party?"
Hmm let's see, your sister went the wrong way with the King of Parties and congrats you're an uncle!
I struggled to find an excuse. "Someone borrowed... my dress? And I needed it back, yes."
He patiently accepted my excuse. "What reason did you needed my 'backup' for?"
This time, I really had a hard time looking for a good excuse. "Hey look at that! I'm getting late for school! I gotta get ready!"
"School started 3 hours-"
"Bye!" I hanged up.
What's wrong with this guy? He cries when his lab is almost taken away, but doesn't mind getting high. He probably has his own chemical drugs.
Taking my time, and procrastinating, I reached school during the last class of the day. And Mr. Stanley was surprised.
"You're late Al." He said. He was all the way across the classroom and he spoke clear enough that I could hear him from the other end of the classroom.
I wonder how I got an F in this class?
I uncomfortably walked to my seat. It wasn't long before the jaw dropping scientist walked into the class again.
How does he know I just got to school?
All he had to do was nod at Mr. Stanley and he got the clue. The old teacher pointed his finger at me and flicked it.
Once we were walking down the hall, I wispered loudly, "I swear you stalk me!"
Captain chuckled, "I have better things in life than stalk." He smirked. "Besides, why would I stalk someone who takes me to a party where I get stoned?"
Goddamnit! Here it goes again.
"I didn't do it on purpose!"
Oh the tears.
He pushed his hair back. "Calm down. I have more than enough brain cells. And who unpleasantly threw up on you?"
"Some jerk." I rolled my eyes. Like Justin.
